It’ll only cost around $150 to get the front and rear painted to match Deep Ocean Blue Metallic. I’m planning on going with Line X for mine though. And also for anyone that is skeptical because of Nasty’s comments on fitment: He actually shipped me his rear set and it fits perfect on my rear bumper, just takes time to get it in the right spot. It might get better mileage with 0/20...my guess is it's a CAFE thing. Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk2 points

I wouldn’t mind paying a little more if its means more Americans getting jobs. I’m retired so I don’t need a job, I lived the American dream. I don’t mind paying a little more so someone else can. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk2 points

I was able to get a set of these before they went on back order. I love them! They're really dark blue. So dark that I thought they were black when I opened the box. Part #s 84149652 -Front 84149654 -Rear I don't know when they'll come off of backorder but keep checking with your local dealer if you want them. Our accessories rep did tell us that GM was looking at doing an accessory version so hopefully they'll be available soon.1 point

Hey gang just a heads up, while this is literally the first line in our Terms and Conditions it bears repeating again: DO NOT SHIP USPS IF YOU WANT YOUR STUFF IN ONE PIECE. I'm not sure what they do with them here but they are AMAZINGLY good at breaking the lenses. We've had a rash of people not heeding the warning that end up damaged. Also bubble wrap unless it fills the whole damn box may not be enough, wrap these suckers in foam just in case; trust me this is good advice either with our without USPS. Thanks1 point

New ones are junk. Find an older one. If you buy a newer lawn tractor has the Tuff Torq k46 transmission it will be junk within 50 hours. An $800 repair bill with your own labor to swap it out.1 point

It's the seat belt chime. I wouldn't recommend doing anything other than wearing your seat belt but here are a few options. Wire the seat belt connector together so the vehicle thinks the seat belt is in. (don't do it!) Wire the left speaker into the right speaker channel since it only uses the left speaker. (don't do it!) Get a seat belt from the junkyard and cut the insert part off an plug it into your seat belt so it thinks the seat belt is connected. (don't do it!) Plug your seat belt, then get in the car and sit on the belt. (don't do it!) Just a few options that I don't recommend but will answer your question!1 point

GM specs this stuff: https://www.kent-automotive.com/Kent/High-Tech-Seam-Sealer-Clear/P10200.ka We use this, no problems. Should be able to pick this up at an auto parts store, or a body shop supply store. https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/company-us/all-3m-products/~/3M-Flexiclear-Body-Seam-Sealer/?N=5002385+3293194145&rt=rud Make sure you clean the roof and the antenna with a prep solvent to clean any contaminants. Also, DO NOT over torque! 80 lb in is the spec.1 point

You can have a completely worn out engine produce wonderful UOAs... I've seen it first hand, engine rings were so bad the thing would barely run because compression was so low, had almost no oil pressure because the bearings were worn out, UOA indicated the oil was fine and the engine was in good condition... Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk1 point
-
In what way do you mean they claimed engine condition and it wasn't correct but had a UOA to show otherwise? Just curious. If a UOA isn't worth showing the condition of the engine then why does the aviation use it as a means to prevent problems? Not like you can just pull over on the next cloud and wait for a tow plane.1 point

Need to remove the rocker arms from the cylinder causing the noise. It could be something as small as a broken valve spring. Remove the valve cover the noise is coming from and take a look. It could be less that $100 to fix. Loose rocker arm, bent push rod, broken valve spring... all cheap fixes.1 point
-
Just tell them to program it and if it fixes it, you will pay for it... If not you shouldn't have to pay for it... It literally takes 10 minutes to program... Any decent shop would at least try it to see if they could get paid the full hour for 10 minutes of work! WTF is wrong with these shops you're going to lol.1 point

I did a Wilson 5000 mounted center of the roof of my crew cab (hole drilled, not a magnet mount). I'm running a General HP40W barefoot, the antenna gives me a nearly flat SWR of 1:1 on all 40 channels. I ran a 102 inch whip on the last truck, and over 850 watts...May not even put a radio in the next truck, there is very little (quality) traffic to speak of anymore... Should give you a good counterpoise as long as the antenna is grounded to the bar well (assuming the bar is steel). It will use that bar as a counterpoise... Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk1 point

I had the 40 series on my 15, liked it, wasnt crazy loud, but nice rumble at start up and cruising speeds, ive had the magnaflow as well, that was quieter, louder than stock but sometimes you couldnt really tell you did anything. Now on my 17 i have flow 10 series, with flap deleted and dumped at the axle and love it, you can def tell you have something installed, loud at start up, low rumble at idle once warm and loud on the road crusing speeds1 point

The longer you wait , the better the deals will become. If you wait too long. the truck you want may not be available. Buying a vehicle can be very stressful and you'll always think you could have done a little better. I often hear and read about the great deals others have received and thought I wouldn't have bragged about that or this is BS. As suggested earlier, if you disclose your max budget, that's what they'll be their target. "And for a little more...." Contrary to other's recommendations, I find that it is not a problem to show your excitement over a particular truck. Showing a lukewarm commitment to a vehicle, I believe, will not result in getting the bottom line. I find that the more confident the sales team is on a potential sale, the more effort will be made to close the deal.1 point

Years ago I would have thought this was a gimmick like the Ford step system introduced years ago. I now have a Rubbermaid two-step product ready for use just inside my tailgate! If this new feature can't be used with a hitch attached, so what? I'm surprised people don't call GM "STOOPID" for trailers blocking the back-up camera's view.1 point

I think these are great looking trucks. A sweet little flatdeck with a hitch for a mega-sized toy hauler would be where some lottery winnings (dream on) would go!1 point

The 19 Rebel IMO looks nicer than the Trail. I’m look at both and if neither fit I’ll keep mine. Wife just got a new car and she’s got me itching to want one too LOL. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

Agree that the tariff is likely a negotiation tactic instead of something that will last long term. However, does this mean that GMC could charge LESS for the carbon fiber bed than the steel option?1 point

I honestly can’t fathom ever actually buying a set of factory wheels, but I prefer the all black look.1 point

I too use alot of gear. I'm an Agronomist and carry a laptop, iPad, drone, scales for weighing and measuring, several types of probes...you get the picture; I am constantly using my truck bed as a portable office. I would hate to know that I could damage my tailgate on a hitch. To me it looks bad, functions cool but poorly designed for truck use(most of us leave our hitches installed). Not around here. I see Denali's all over the place as farm trucks beat all to heck. Makes one wonder why they buy such and expensive vehicle and then abuse it like that.1 point

The F150 is a wise move The following features are available on the F150, but not available on the GM twins: 1) DOHC, 4 valve/cylinder engines 2) Adaptive Cruise Control 3) Blind Spot Monitors 4) 360 degree camera view 5) Rear HVAC vents 6) Keyless ignition 7) Trailer backup assist 8) Aluminum bodies 9) Console shifter The EcoBoost engines have been thoroughly tested, unlike the 5.3L AFM. This video is lengthy, but worth the time:1 point

As of 2:15 pm CST we have 11 people committed. They said there's a TON of traffic heading to the site but not many people pulling the trigger. The good news is they said if we can get to 15 people they will do 15% off coupon code. I'm sure there are some people on the fence, dive in boys and girls, the water's fine! So spread the word, we have 1 day left! WF411 point

Chris, as I said I work for Permatex. The red gasket maker is older technology best used on exhaust manifolds as it has a high temperature resistance. The Ultra Grey is much more resistant to coolant. Its the only thing I would use on water pumps. Grey Gasket Maker1 point

thought i would update to help others out.... i got the murry condenser and replaced it myself... i think it was around $60.00 i also bought the bracket from amazon...$8 my line looked perfect and didn't show any signs of leaking so i didn't replace it. after replacing the condenser i took it to a local a/c shop i trust and had them pull a vacuum and recharge it...they charged me $100. overall pretty simple install minus a few bolts that are hard to get to on the underside of the radiator support. sucks knowing that this is pretty much a defective part from the factory and i had to waste a sunday afternoon fixing it...but i do have 92K trouble free miles, so i can't complain too much. great video i followed and helped out with what to remove...1 point

Not sure where you are located , but Laura GMC in Illinois, has atleast 15 Denali Ultimate, priced between $51,000- $55,000 BRAND NEW...with no hidden fees or rebates you don't qualify for..The price on the web is what everyone pays FWIW, I just bought an SLT there last month , it had a build date of 11/17 as well, 6.2 w/8spd.. no issues at all driving it home almost 900 miles..worked great!1 point

Sand the chrome, etch primer and base/clear away. I'd recommend putting some 3m clear bra on top to preserve the finish. It's not about the paint chipping on the chrome, its about the thin paint that has to be used from the EPA. Older trucks never had the paint problems like we have today.1 point

There is an update to fix this but it has to be done at the dealership.1 point

If you could order a regular cab Centennial Edition I would understand that point of view better...If any truck should have been done to celebrate the Centennial Anniversary it should have been the regular cab. To me the Centennial Bowties are no different than the colored or light up Bowties, just another design of Bowtie....this one just looks old fashion. I would argue mine looks more like a Centennial Edition than a Chevy issued Centennial Edition....Just my opinion.1 point

If you weren’t after ride quality, then why spend all that coin on some Fox coil overs??? They’re more for ride quality and driving over rough terrain vs actually lifting the truck.1 point
