Hi Guys, I have noticed that a lot of the vents or air ducts under the seats of these trucks are covered or partially covered with carpet. Because of that I modeled up some adapters that you can print on a 3d printer and slide on the vents/ducts under the seats so the air is deflected upward and they keep the carpet from covering the vents. I made a video showing how they work and I put the link too the 3d printer files in the description so you can download and print your own. Video showing how the vent deflectors work and the files needed to print your own

I've been wondering when I would use the Task Lights on the back of outside mirrors... Just haven't seen much use for them... until the other day... Brought my kid's girlfriend home, and as he walked her to the door, their porch light was not on... they lingered a bit longer than I felt comfortable with, so I closed the mirrors and turned on the task lights... lit up the front of the house quite well I don't think my son was amused heheh

Sorry I’m a bit late getting back to you folks. Was out enjoying the truck with the wife and dogs. Here’s some pictures!

Next time maybe you should actually look the truck over before you buy it. Just a thought.

Finally pulled the trigger and gave my 2017 Silverado 1500 Rally 1 another upgrade. Thanks to @pgamboa and White Automotive and Media I was able to retrofit the Denali cluster and new leather steering wheel into my truck.? I was able to achieve controls from the steering wheel to my aftermarket radio as well! Huge plus. ? I'm very happy with how this turned out. ?

I’m wondering. Remember H1-N1? Mass hysteria? Stock Market going crazy? Who’s going to make money? Who’s pushing the most hysteria? Election year? Remember how many people died before we even heard any concern about H1-N1. Stock market during that time. I heard a good quote last night when the question was asked. The flu kills thousands a year, why the hysteria with this? The flu is a car wreck. This one is a plane crash. And then there’s the media. Be safe, be smart, don’t be fooled. Well, not by choice but I got to replace the battery tonight. My lady and I went for some DQ and came back out to leave and big girl didn't want to turn over. Lucked out as there was an advanced auto parts across the parking lot and was closing in 10 minutes. Needless to say I got it swapped out in 15 minutes with hand tools I had in the truck, overall not hard to swap batteries. Heard it was tough, but it was really simple. P.S well aware I should be at the Planet fitness and not dairy queen lol Sent from my SM-G986U1 using Tapatalk

I’m very sorry your truck got cancelled, I can see you’re taking it hard. It may be a good time for you and whoever will fit in your tiny back seat to take a trip...get some time away and clear your head. To prove you bought the right truck, you can even bring along the items that will only fit in a 6.5’ box, like your mattress and surfboard. Since I’ve never seen either of those items strapped to the roof of a Subaru with a “coexist” bumper sticker, I know they cannot be moved with anything less than a double cab driven by a real truck guy like yourself.

My wife and I bought this Cajun Red 6.2L Crew Cab 2020 Trail Boss last week. I've owned a bunch of vehicles in the past and would say that this impresses me as much as, if not more than, my 2011 Ford Raptor. Loving it! Borla S-Type exhaust, Truxedo Sentry CT bed cover, and Husky rear wheel well liners are all ordered and arriving over the next few days.

Have to post another picture to show the visitor that showed up at my house last night... Not mine, but I did get to take it for a 10 mile rip. All I can say is it fits like a glove and handles like its on rails.

I just bought a new 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Duramax with the Premium Plus package. When test driving it, the 3.0L diesel engine really impressed me, especially compared to a Ram EcoDiesel (GDE tuned) I had a few years ago. Now I just have to get a few things to add like all weather floor liners, a bed cover, vent visors and get the windows tinted.

If your considering doing a ceramic coating either by a pro or a DIY job wait till your done adding stuff that takes 3M tape like an Aeroskin bug shield or even Chevy OEM mud flaps. It will flat out not stick then it’s a big ol pain to get the ceramic removed enough to get tape to stick.

For a while, I had the door handles installed with just the regular LED that was in the door. I did a whole retrofit and bought some Profile Prism Sequential LED strips(6"). Crossed my fingers and dug(dremel/grinded) out the backside of the door handle to fit the LED strips, sealed them up and wired them back up. Now they come on with park-lamp(white) and turn signal. I did also wire up the regular LED to come on with the puddle lamp, but at night, the park lamp comes on, so it outshines the OE LED in the door :(. I did keep the option in the door to switch it out to that if the normal park-lamp LED was too bright(unless I get complaints, it' the bright LED ).

Got the new wheels and tires on. No rubbing, very happy with how they look and feel smoother than the stock tires. Hard to believe but I weighed the old wheels and tires and the new, and they are both 78lbs. 20200720_183533 by Rob Malaguti, on Flickr IMG_3574 by Rob Malaguti, on Flickr IMG_3611 by Rob Malaguti, on Flickr IMG_3584 by Rob Malaguti, on Flickr

Hi guys. Just wanted to introduce myself and share a few pictures of my new 2020 Trail Boss. It's my first truck after a long list of cars (2019 Charger Daytona 392, 2017 Mustang GT, 2013 GT 500, 2012 CTS-V, 2012 Mustang GT, 2011 Corvette Grand Sport, 2003 350Z etc), so it's definitely new for me to be so high up. Was able to trade in my Charger a year after buying it for the same price I paid and bought this truck before it was even delivered to the dealer. Nearly had a heart attack because even though I had measured beforehand, it didn't seem like it was exactly going to fit into my garage haha (have maybe 3-4 inches up top). MSRP was $56,220 and ended up paying $46,720 before taxes. I opted for the Convenience package I & II, Leather Package, Safety Package I, Bed Protection Package, Advanced Trailering Package and the Wheel Locks. I bought the truck Friday, on Saturday I waxed it and blacked out the emblems/exhaust tips and today I got the windows tinted. I already have some side steps, a new antenna and black lug nuts on order from American Trucks.

Working on all the upgrades and it’s back at the dealer now having the fabtech leveling kit added to the fabtech stealth 3in lift that’s currently on it. Running 35’s on fuel 20x9’s. I’ve added led highs and lows along with DTL LEDs above the tow hooks which are tapped into the headlamp fuse block, hard tonneau cover from GM, 5% ceramic tint all around, entire windshield tinted at 35% with 5% strip, and I’m waiting on the off road steps to come in so if anyone would be interested in the chrome ones currently on mine I’ll make a good deal on them I live in SC.

If you are asking this for purely information purposes, i do not believe there is any discernible difference or if there is, it is minute. If you are asking this as a reason to give your wife for spending several hundred more dollars on your truck, it will pay for itself in six months with all the savings and just might even save the planet! Bought this 1 week ago. Went in to test drive with all of the deals going on. I told the dealer I didn't want a white one, it had to be black. They had a carbon black AT4 in transit but didn't know when it would actually arrive at the dealer. Long story short, after my test drive of the white AT4 they had on the lot, I was getting ready to leave when the semi pulled in with this little lady on it. Bought the truck with 4 miles on the dash. Every option except the carbon pro package. 2020 AT4 6.2 Carbon Black Metallic.

The crisis is manufactured. Everyone is fixing to get told that it is harder to spread and less deadly than originally thought by the end of the week. Our country is full of a bunch of soft, easily manipulated sheep. Carry on. Love my Sierra lol.

Just got back home after my wife's surgery and have completed extending my camera cables so I could swap the trailer plug with the video cable connectors from the bumper to the bed. It was a success and am very happy with the results and hope this helps everyone that tows a goose neck or fifth wheel. I purchased the cables from PASTERNACK (www.pasternack.com) 866-727-8376, Sales Person was Derek Burkett with the following part numbers. The last two digits are the length. I ordered 36" which worked great, but some folks may want to order another 12". The total cost including taxes and shipping was less than $100. a. Rear view camera cable (black) PE3W08444-36, description. Black FAKRA Jack to FAKRA Plug Cable Using LMR-100 Coax. b. Inside camera cable (Water Blue which is a universal cable to connect to the Orange cable) PE3C2779-36, description. Water Blue FAKRA Jack to FAKRA Plug Cable Using LMR-100 Coax. To install you will need to remove the bumper plug and the bed plug. The plugs have a metal squeeze clip that you need to press from the backside, the bumper can be accessed from behind the bumper and bed plug will require you to remove the rear taillight to access the rear of the bed plug. Your owners manual explains on how to remove the rear taillights. On the bumper plug video cables you will need to slide the red clips back and then push down on the release tab to release the jack from the plug. Next on the 7 pin connector you will slide the light grey clip back and then push down on the release tab to release the 7 pin connector (I found it easier to completely remove the grey clip due to access). I installed the bed plug first which will require you to remove some of the spray-on bed liner and make adjustments to the metal squeeze clips to accommodate the Pyle National Plug and the thicker bed wall. It makes it easier to do a test fit before applying cables. I spent many hours searching and calling, but I couldn't find anyone that would supply waterproof connectors, so you will need to tape these up to keep out moisture. The pictures will tell the story and I did finish up by using cable ties to secure the cables to the 7 pin cable harness from the bed plug to the bumper plug.

rI traded my 2015 Sierra Denali in and picked up a new 2020 Sierra Denali last Friday. I really loved the 2015, but am amazed at the new 2020. I wanted my new one to be the same, Black exterior , Black interior and black rims. Had to have the 6.2 -once I had in in the 2015, I had to have it in this one. I spent the weekend going over all of the features and the new interior and exterior details and am really happy with everything so far. The one major improvement is the 10A vs 8A -I had a couple of problem early on with my 2015 8A, which were resolved, but this new 10A is smooth and shifts great in Sport Mode.

I guess I’m the oddball here, as I don’t have an issue with the current gen interiors. They’re functional and serve their purpose well IMO. I just came out of a Ford and could have gone with any manufacturer, and chose GMC Sierra. Could have gotten a RAM for less money, but liked GMC better. I would have gotten a luxury car if I wanted a luxury car interior.

My 2 Cents Forgot to put oil back in it. Started it to park it. Motor damaged. Tried to start it, ruined the starter trying to turn over a damaged motor. Added oil and now a noise. Then discovered lack of oil damaged the motor.

Just bought the truck Thursday night. 2020 AT4 with the 6.2, fully loaded etc. Went by Discount today and they threw me a killer deal on some 35x 11.50 Ridge Grapplers they had ordered for someone who never came by to install them, so I had to get them put on. So far loving the truck, all the power and frills I'll ever need. Pulled up to the office Friday morning and got nothing but compliments! This morning. Sitting pretty but needed something. After I left Discount.
