It's all a matter of perspective. We are enjoying our Texan family but disappointed that the weather is cool and cloudy for their visit. They love it and are texting their friends and family back home who are replying with envy!2 points

Have you tried driving around with the cover open or removed to see if that is truly what is causing your mpg loss? 4-5 mpg is a lot IMO. You will need to try a process of elimination to find the root cause. It could be the cover or it could be something else that just happened to appear at the same time.1 point

Beats me on the package. I dont have space for anything more. Every button has something. Id assume, Id have to not have something I do to have that one. The far right, super large button on mine is hill descent.1 point

Had the same issue with 2021 Yukon Denali and finally got it fixed. Dealer replaced and reprogrammed the OnStar module and now it is working perfectly for last 2 weeks. Used to disconnect CarPlay multiple time on way to work (in the same places), no longer any drops. Hope this helps!.1 point

I will check them out! This is on pavement, but I understand what you mean. No 4x4 likes to do turns on pavement, but it’s just idling along with little gas going straight you can just hear it but the resistance you known it’s not right1 point

And gasoline is sold on futures too. The stock market can make the wholesale cost for gasoline rise by $0.40 in a day and we will see an immediate rise at the pump even though that was for a contract 1-2 months in the future. But the second it drops $0.30 on the stock market it takes 4 weeks for us to even see it go down. That is the other way they rake people over the coals. Their actual cost for the fuel never went up because they never even bought that gasoline at the new wholesale cost. They've paid for the fuel in the tanks at the station already and more than likely already have orders for several more rounds of fuel delivers lined up on a schedule to keep the fuel coming in on a regular basis.1 point

it's not a hard job if you are mechanicaly inclined and have a good set of tools. you don't really need much for special tools other than snapring pliers, bearing/seal drivers and a bench for teardown/ rebuild. there's another thread from today/ yest on the same subject1 point

Ask him about Hearts of Iron IV, same developer very different game. I found that to be an immense amount of fun. $40 for the base game and all sorts of add-ons, which I highly recommend some of them although not all, I have about 600 hours into it over the course of 4/5 years. It is the only game I have ever purchased the released content for. These games are awesome. If you have time to kill during the day to watch some videos on how they are played or some walk throughs it makes it a hell of a lot easier as well.1 point

These (and prior) trucks rust from the inside out. You can unlimited wash the outside all day long, won't help. The boxes rust out from the area between the inner and outer skins. If that isn't regularly hosed out (pull the tail lights gets you direct access) $hit accumulates big time.1 point

I have these high clearance steps on my 21 Trail Boss and love them. People are always asking where I got them.1 point

My wife is also 5’1” and she likes them much better than no step. She has no trouble with them. I have no complaints so far. And my kids have no problems using them - 8 and up. I think they look better than the Amps personally. I like that they’re low clearance. I see a lot of damaged Amps on trucks. Actually my only complaint is that it’s hard to clean behind them when hand washing because they’re so tight to the truck. They clean up fine with a brush. The texture will tear up a sponge.1 point
