  1. Sorry for the slow response. Life has been crazy. The CB has a mono 3.5mm external speaker port. I used a mono 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable then a single female to dual male RCA Y adapter. That RCA Y adapter then plugs into the RCA Audio Input of AV Input on the back of my Pioneer AVH-4200NEX. I can then set my radio to AV and listen to CB on the trucks speakers. You can also use an AUX input on the radio but mine is used but the Maestro Interface for the radio. the problem you may run into with and AUX port is the CB outputs in Mono and a standard AUX port is stereo. The nice thing is I can listen to the CB while using Android Auto for navigation. AA will automatically attenuate the CB volume when it it giving you turn by turn directions. I can also simply reach around the back of the CB radio and unplug the 3.5mm jack if I want to use the CB's internal speaker.

  2. Thought our newer trucks had the narrower front diff and longer axles then last gen so this wasn’t an issue any more? Also less uca issues due to less angle. Sounds like last gen speak carried forward like an echo to the next gen making assumptions they are the same.

  3. SOLVED!!! The rattle, which they could not replicate while on the rack and I could not locate after many hours under the truck......... Was a blown front shock. That was my best guess (well, not at first!) and they remarked that they weren't sure it would fix the problem. The shock was clean and you couldn't tell it was blown until it was taken off the truck. I am relieved to have the noise saga behind me!

  4. My first and last fill ups were filled the same - Fill then let sit for 30 seconds and fill it again until it shuts off. I'm happy with that feeling of doing it correctly. Trip 1 (to CA) 676.1 Miles / 26.48 Gallons used / 26.9 MPG on cluster / 25.53 Hand Calculated Trip 2 (to Utah) 667.3 miles / 27.15 gallons used / 27 MPG on cluster / 24.58 Hand Calculated 1343.4 miles total / 53.63 Gallons used / 25.04 MPG Hand Calculated Just under 1 Gallon DEF Fluid used Towing this weekend and I added the S&B intake back on the truck. Will see what numbers I show with that.

  7. For $80 + tax I’d go with the LT rated tires. Tougher, deeper tread, and will stand up to that offroading you mentioned.
