  1. It fits a 2015 ccsb. I purchased this tank about 4-6 weeks ago and had it installed for three tanks of fuel. It's in basically new condition and worked great. The only reason why I'm selling it is because I ordered a Hellwig rear sway bar at the same time I ordered the tank. The tank came in first and the sway bar showed up a couple days after I installed the tank. The sway bar bracket will not clear the tank and I wanted/needed the sway bar more, so I pulled the tank. FULL DISCLOSURE... When I first installed the tank, it would belch fuel when the pump clicked off at full. I was a bit pissed so I called Titan. They told me to make sure the 5/8" vent to the filler neck was as high as possible without any low spots. I climbed under the truck and zip tied it to the bed stiffener and that solved the issue. I would suggest that who ever buys it do the same to avoid puke-age. I paid over $1300.00 for it with the skid plate. I'm looking to get $1100.00 net to me plus shipping.   2. Hey guys, I'm trying to diagnose a weird issue with my son's 2003 1500. Yesterday he came in the house and said his truck made a pop when he put it in gear, then he put it into reverse and it kinda lurched. I hopped in it and drove it a bit. To me it sounded like loose chain. If I put the truck in gear and let it idle forward I could hear it. If I put the truck in neutral while coasting, the noise went away. I remember reading that the transfer case drive chain gets loose on these trucks, then starts hitting the case. Today, I pulled the drain plug and the fluid was clean, so I'm not sure what the deal is. Any ideas on what it could be? I'd rather deal with it now if it is the transfer case before it lets go on the freeway. By the way, the truck has 128k on the clock. Thanks in advance!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. I was on the freeway following my wife in her Mini Cooper S, when she took off so we started playing. At close to 100, my truck felt like it laid down. Then I started checking the dic thinking maybe there was a speed limiter but couldn't find one. Can anybody confirm if they do have a factory speed limiter?   10. I looked into Aero tank and transfer flow tanks today. They are both steel replacement tanks and hold 60g. Not sure if steel is a better option though. I did talk to Titan and they said that the fill hose may be kinked/tweaked and that would cause it to burp.   12. I installed a 57g Titan tank two weeks ago because I wanted more towing range. After the install, I ran down to the fuel station to fill it up for the first time. I was excited until the pump clicked off and it dumped fuel all over the side of my truck. I called tech support and they said it may have just had a bubble in the line. I called bs but figured I'd wait until the next fill up and see what happens. Well I filed up again today and it did the same thing. Has anybody else had this issue with the Titan tank?   13. When I bought my truck, they asked how much I drive because they were trying to sell me the extended warranty. I bought my truck on sept 10th and it just clicked 14,000 miles.   14. So I had a chance to tie the trailer for the second time over Presidents' Day weekend. I thought I'd write a quick follow up to the first thread First towing impressions and a few questions http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/167947-First-towing-impressions-and-a-few-questions After reading all of the replies-which I appreciate, I thought I'd add to my last thread. This trip was a race to get out before it got dark, so instead of filling the water and gas in the trailer closer to the destination, I topped everything off before we left. That's 115g of water and 45g of gas on top of the normal crap we drag out with us. As recommended in the last thread, I set tow and the exhaust brake and left the tans in auto on the hills instead of holding it in manual like the last trip. It did fine on the grades, but it did downshift a couple times. No biggie. I also added the trans temp to the display so I checked that out a few times. I was surprised at how cool it ran. Here's a picture I snapped on the grade. I took this one on the flat w cc set at 65;) I set the bags at 65psi again and the ride up was very stable. The more I drive w the trailer, the more I like the exhaust brake and integrated trailer brake controller. I pretty much don't need the brakes when slowing except to complete the stop. As I said at the beginning of the thread, we were racing to leave the house before it got dark. I had hoped to get to our camp before it got dark. Well that didn't happen. I made a wrong turn on a dirt road and ended up making a u-turn to get back out. That's when I learned something else this truck does better than the other trucks did. The road was wide enough that I could pull onto the right shoulder and complete the u-turn wo backing up. A bit later, we made it to camp and that's when I realized just how sharp the truck turns[emoji35] It turns out that I tagged the side of the bed with the front ladder on the trailer. I was pretty pissed when I saw the damage but it was done and there was nothing I could do about it. Here's the thing. I've pulled this trailer everywhere with an F250, an Excursion and a Ram2500. I've never had a single issue or ever felt that I was turning close enough to make contact w the truck/trailer. Well, I learned my lesson. I took it to the dealer and got a crazy estimate of 4k to repair it. I then took it to another body shop that the dealers use and they quoted me 1k. Any guesses which shop I picked? On the bright side, it gave me an excuse to buy a pair of Anzo led tails since the drives tail was cracked. On the way home, there was a lot of cross wind and it wagged the trailer pretty good, which moved the rear of the truck around more than I liked. I finally added another 5psi to the bags and this helped a bit, but I still didn't like it moving around as much as it did. Also, the trip to the desert is a touch over 150m from the house. I averaged 7.5mpg on the way up and 9mpg on the way back. That means I burned half a tank one way. On the way back, I set the cc at 55 on the down grades and never needed the brakes. The exhaust and trans did their thing perfectly. Here are a couple things I'm doing to make the next trip better: 1. When we got back, I ordered a Titan 57g tank to give me a bit more range when towing. I just installed it and filled it today. I was pissed that it puked fuel out of the filler ,down the truck and on my pants. I've got a call into Titan to get this sorted out. 2. I also checked out Hellwig and ordered the bigwig rear sway bar. The thing sounds like a beast. It's 1.5" OD and is supposed to help keep the rear more stable.   16. I just installed a 57g Titan tank to get better range when towing. Here's the issue. I just filled it up for the first time and it burped like crazy. I'm pissed because my F250 did the same thing after I installed the Titan tank. I thought it was an issue with one of the vents being pinched. Now that this tank is doing the same thing, I'm wondering what can be done to stop it from puking fuel all over the side of my truck and on the pavement.   18. I'm ready to order led builds for my tails, reverse, cargo and license plate. What has everybody been using? The two I've been looking at are Putco and Vled. Also, I'm planning to try LEDs in my headlights too, so I'd like to stick with the same company for everything if possible. My main requirements are quality/reliability and brightness. Also, does anybody have a list of bulb types that fit each location? Thanks in advance, Sean
