  1. What is the best way to clean around the lug nuts? I have black rims and I tried a detailing brush but that only cleaned the lug nut not the tiny space around it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks for the replies, I'm still on the fence about wether or not to switch. I'll wait until I run out of Meguiars and decide then... it's gonna be awhile lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I've always used strictly Meguiar's products but am now considering switching to Chemical Guys. What are their best products in everyone's opinions? I wash my black Silverado every weekend and will probably buy the soap and tire dressing in gallon containers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Bull Ring 1001 Bullet Truck Bed Side Wall Anchors Factory Direct 2-Pair For 2007-17 Silverado /Sierra & 15-17 Colorado-Canyon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HOWQ8HA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_2yxZybBS5YNFH Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I guess I walked into that one, I have those same anchors, I love them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. What goes in this hole? I have anchors for all the other holes but can't figure out what goes in this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yea pretty much summed that up. I've had a black since 2003 and it's very labor intensive to keep it looking brand new. But there's nothing like a clean black truck. New England is probably the worst place to live and own one.... so I'm very busy detailing my truck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. I have a black silverado and I wash it once a week, I keep it better than show room condition. If it rains, my truck turns almost gray and looks horrible. It's waxed quarterly, is there something I'm doing wrong? Do I need to seal the wax or is it just because it's black? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It was blown piston rings which caused oil consumption and gasoline to get into the oil. All covered under warranty.... thank god. They said if it wasn't covered, it would have cost roughly $3500 [emoji51] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Oil was changed 4K miles ago (full synthetic). I have had to add oil for about 2 years but it never smelled like fuel. It does idle in the morning using the remote start but no longer than 20 min. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. My wife has 2012 Chevy Equinox 2.4L 4 Cylinder. The equinox was low on oil (seems to burn oil from day 1), as I was adding oil I noticed a gasoline smell from the oil and a white pasty residue on the oil fill cap. Is this an injector problem or the fuel pump? Other than that, seems to be running fine and not leaking any fluids. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Did you make that or buy it? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I'm going to end up using an ammo can I have laying around. To secure it I have a large magnet that I'll put in the can to hold it to the tray. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
