  1. Would this explain why it happens about 1500-2000 miles after an oil change? Where is this on the engine? I know you said on the front cover but I'm wondering if there's another photo/diagram somewhere? It doesn't really burn oil. Maybe a half a quart between changes? Nothing crazy.
  2. I appreciate the reply, but did you read my post? I have changed the sensor, replaced the screen, replaced the pump, o-ring, and lifter o-ring, and replaced the relief valve.
  3. I have a 2012 5.3 with 125k. I've owned since around 90k. Basically, the oil pressure drops between oil changes. After an oil change the truck maintains decent pressure, maybe 30 or so when hot driving down the highway. After I get down to about 60% on the oil life indicator it starts to drop when hot, until eventually it's running 20psi at 70mph on the highway and triggers the CEL and code P0521. I'm using 5w30 Mobil 1 and have tried all sorts of filters, (Royal purple, Mobil 1, Delco, etc.) The truck makes no noises on a cold start, or when hot, it runs beautifully regardless of where I'm at pressure wise. I've replaced the oil pressure sensor sending unit, the screen beneath the oil pressure sending unit, the oil pump, and the lifter o-ring. The problem persists. I'm at my wits end. I'm not sure where to go next. I'm thinking I just might get rid of the truck. Please help. I don't know where to go next.
  4. Anyone know when this will be resolved? I was working a deal on a '14 and when I handed the check over the service manager killed the deal due to the stop sale.
