I'll start by saying that I live outside the US, so I can't visit a professional Chevy dealership
I've googled various topics a lot, but I haven't found a solution.
My simple question is: does an aftermarket remote start kit also add keyless entry function to a regular work truck?
My truck is a 2008 Silverado with powerlocks, but without factory keyless entry (AU3 & 5B5 Build Codes).
My idea is to install this:
The question is, will installing this kit(or similar) also give me keyless entry for my truck?
The sellers of various aftermarket kits have given different answers, saying that if I order long range remotes in addition, I will get keyless entry, but has anyone tried that?
I don't want to find out by trying

Ive got jsalarms answer: If you do not have factory remotes you will need to add the CA1 add on remotes. IF your doors are power it should lock and unlock them. I really hope that there is someone somewhere who has faced the same problem and found a solution So that someone who has installed it can confirm it
