My truck frame was damaged and need a new front frame section. There was no body damage in the accident just frame. I was hoping that the insurance would total it but they are replacing the front frame section. Should I trade my truck in and take the loss in value now? Or is it worth keeping? I tow a 43’ fifth wheel camper. What worries me is the frame snapping at the new welds while I’m pulling this camper through the mountains of NC and being stuck in the middle of nowhere with limited options to get it towed somewhere and my camper being destroyed. I’m probably overthinking this but I figured I’d ask. 2023 Silverado 2500 HD custom.
