  1. Finally got it done for free at the dealer Turns out my truck was built with the dash control switches installed BUT: --- my truck was missing the control module (chip ?) in the seat --- my truck was missing the seat cooler Blower as well Dealer said each truck has unique missing parts month to month My truck build date was April 2022 Took 2 full hours, dealer said the work was accessed by opening up the back of the bucket seat (?) What did your truck retro-fit entail ?
  2. 22 GMC Sierra HD has Tailgate & Emergency Brake that ONLY WORKS WITH ELECTRIC POWER ? so if you have a dead battery you cannot open the tailgate or release the emergency brake ? no manual bypass release ? If that is correct then THAT IS A DEFECTIVE DESIGN !
  3. again - so lame by GM - having z71 on the written rpo code saying z71, but x 31 on the truck bed were they too lazy or stupid to to have it match ? Is X31 the same as Z71? google says: google says: lol The X31 package is the GMC equivalent of the Z71 off-road package available for the Chevy Silverado. As such, it will include similar equipment including off-road suspension, hill descent control, skid plates, auto-locking rear differentials, a 2-speed transfer case, and rear wheelhouse liners.
  4. Picture looks a bit Bow Down (?) maybe raise the Ball 2 or 3 or 4 inches ? Trailer Frame should be level when towing +- to disperse the weight evenly on ALL 6 wheels When my friend's looked like that after 200 miles on the highway his trailer front lead tires blew out (Short Distances would not make a difference) +- I could be wrong
  5. My 23 2500 HD allows me to set ALL stock 20" tires to 55 COLD when 30 degrees out and they will rise due to driving and or a warmer day to about 60 psi - AND they do NOT set off my Dash Warning - Of course I'm not using the truck for towing or with a load +- then I add air
  6. so silly of GM my QR on my GMC SIERRA lists Z71 Off Road Suspension BUT my Bed Emblem says X31
  7. Hi How long did it take the Service Tech to do your 2 seat modules ?
  8. Seems my dealer had no intention of contacting me for my "Seat Module" I called them today and they said if I got a email from GM, they said the part must be available, and they will order it, and in about 2 weeks they will schedule me a 2 hour appointment for the module install in each seat ... Kinda lame the way they handled it I could have been waiting forever +-
  9. Hello Thank you for reaching out. As of November 2021, we are no longer able to provide this information. However, you can purchase a copy of the vehicle invoice (documentation of the vehicle cost broken out by model and factory options) by visiting www.gmmediaarchive.com. With that being said, we're happy to inform you that your Sierra's heated and ventilated seat retrofit is available. Parts needed to complete your Sierra's heated and ventilated seat retrofit retrofit service are available for order by your preferred GMC dealer. We recommend connecting with them as soon as possible to get this retrofit completed. If you'd like our help with scheduling a service appointment on your behalf, or if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. Kind regards, Gerrit M. GMC Customer Care
  10. I did that last week and got an email saying they no longer provide thaty service
  11. Hmmm I did not know they had different controls Thx my owners manual does not denote that --- GMC Sierra/Sierra Denali 2500 HD/3500 HD Owner Manual (GMNA- Localizing-U.S./Canada-15546006) - 2022 - CRC - 5/4/21 Driving and Operating 247 Ride Control Systems Traction Control/Electronic Stability Control System Operation The vehicle has a Traction Control System (TCS) and StabiliTrak/Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system. These systems help limit wheel spin and assist the driver in maintaining control, especially on slippery road conditions. see page 248 https://cdn.dealereprocess.org/cdn/servicemanuals/gmc/2022-sierra2500hd.pdf
  12. Traction AND Stabiltrak both off will be the better way to do the parking Lot Snow Donuts To turn off only TCS, press and release g. The traction off light i displays in the instrument cluster. The appropriate message will display in the DIC. To turn TCS on again, press and release g. The traction off light i displayed in the instrument cluster will turn off. If TCS is limiting wheel spin when g is pressed, the system will not turn off until the wheels stop spinning. To turn off both TCS and StabiliTrak/ESC, press and hold g until the traction off light i and the StabiliTrak/ESC OFF light g come on and stay on in the instrument cluster, then release. The appropriate message will display in the DIC. To turn TCS and StabiliTrak/ESC on again, press and release g. The traction off light i and the StabiliTrak/ESC OFF light g in the instrument cluster turn off. StabiliTrak/ESC will automatically turn on if the vehicle exceeds 56 km/h (35 mph). Traction control will remain off.
