  1. Around 15K I had the transmission issue with it slipping and the dealership replaced the fluid with the mobile 1 which seem to resolve it enough that i could live with. The transmissions still clunks into first when down shifting but whatever. Well now at 30K I have something similar going on, but seems just slightly different. When I'm cruising around 35-40 it almost feels like the truck is braking or downshifting and then speeding up, but enough everyone in the truck can feel it. At first i was thinking it was the DFM kicking in and its opening and closing valves so i bought a pulsar box
  2. Welcome to my build! Started with a 2019 Silverado 1500 LTZ 4wd 5.3L, which I bought with 9k miles on her in August of 2020. Got a crazy good deal on it, justified me driving to Georgia from Houston to pick it up. It even came with the Ranch Hand front bumper on it already, other than that she was stock. Little bit of background on my past trucks, I've been fortunate to own quite a few: 07 JK Wrangler, 08 Silverado 1500 LT Z71, 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Z71, 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT w/ 6.2L, 2016 Denali 2500 Duramax, 2017 Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71, and finally my 2019 Sil
  3. Hi all, new to the forum, but have been reading random threads. I own a 2020 Trailboss, and my wife has a 2019 Suburban Premiere 6.2. I did some searching and couldn't really pinpoint any good discussions on this. I'm looking to add exhaust to the Suburban. I was hoping to accomplish 2 things: 1. Marginal increase in volume/sound, she wants people to know she's on the road 2. "Dual" exhaust, however I can't seem to find any good pictures or systems that exist out there. Honestly I don't even want/need the tips visible, it would be great to add a 2nd exit on
  4. 2019 Silverado WT has the power tailgate. It’s stuck on one side. The passenger side latch comes undone but the driver side does not. Any ideas on how to get it open? Can’t find anything jammed and the tailgate is on properly. Not sure how I’m going to get it open.
  5. I own a 2019 next gen sierra (elevation) and I'd like to install the extended view tow mirrors (part # 84776098). My truck is equipped with DLF and not UKC as specified in the part description. GM says these mirrors will not work on my truck …. GM enthusiasts. Is this true? I feel like it's bullshit and the harnesses are plug and play? If they're not plug and play, is there an alternate harness? It can't be possible that this 1/2yr model can't be equipped with tow mirrors? Help please …..
  6. I have a 2019 Silverado LD with 21k miles on it. I noticed that if I'm in manual mode, I get a hard downshift from 3-2. No other gears. It does it off and on. What could it be?
  7. Anyone else mounted BFGoodrich KO2's on their Silverado? We just had these delivered yesterday. 50% of our dual rubber strategy. KO2's for winter/off-road and something else on our Chevrolet Performance 22's for the summer and highway. We stayed with the stock sizing the 20's. 275/60/R20 We LOVED the KO2's on our 2011 Sierra. It made the truck look so mean. I'll post after photos in a few weeks when we get them mounted!
  8. I'm about to install the Chevy Performance Brembo Brake Upgrade on our Silverado. Has anyone else installed this kit? Anyone thinking about it? At first glance, it seems pretty straightforward. After reading the manual, however, I'm realizing I need to take the front wheel bearings off to access the dust shield. Other than that, it seems to be a easy rotor/caliper replacement. Big thanks to @RyanbabZ71 for recommending a great brake bleeding tool! The front set is a true six-piston caliper. The rear calipers are stock calipers painted red to match the fronts. The size
  9. What package would be better, the 2019 Canyon All-Terrain Leather, or the 2021 Canyon AT4?
  10. Hey all, I have a 2019 trail boss with an awful noise anytime the rest suspension is used (all the time because you know...) I took it into the dealer and they "fixed" it with some grease.. but that has negative side effects, also it already wore off. So yeah. I just don't understand how this is even a thing. My 2013 didn't make any noises like this. My 2019 sounds like a 20 year old rust bucket. I went on Twitter, but now I question their ability to do anything. They are just going to tell the dealer to regrease it. Anybody else have this iss
  11. Extang Encore Hard Tri-Fold Tonneau cover for 2019 -2020 GMC Sierra or Chevy Silverado with 6.5' bed. In good shape. Needs new front lock because it is keyed for my truck. Sold locally Located in Thousand Oaks, CA. https://www.etrailer.com/Accessories-and-Parts/Extang/EX28620162-28.html https://extang.com/encore-tonno
  12. I’m planning on upgrading my gear ratio from 3.42 to 4.10 on my 2019 custom trail boss. I want to put a 4-6 lift on my truck from BDS with fox shock coilovers With 35 inch tires maybe 37’s but before that I want to regear my truck so that I don’t lose any power. Do y’all think 4.10 gears are good enough for should I go for like 4.55’s? If anyone has re geared there 2019’s and up please let me know the prices and gear shifting experiences.
  13. I am looking into replacing my bench seat with a full center console in my 2019 GMC Sierra SLE. Is this something that is possible? Any information to help me get started would be great.
  14. Just plasti dipped my badges on 2020 Silverado RST 1500. 5 coats of matte black and 1 coat of glossifier. Waited 15-20 min between coats. Super simple to do. Let me know if you have any questions. BTW the tailgate Chevrolet lettering is BD Trims domed letter inserts, black with red outline.
  15. This diode installation allows all of the lights to remain on simultaneously when the high beams are activated on GM vehicles. The diode is super easy to install, you need $2 and 10 minutes. 9 of those minutes will be spent congratulating yourself. After diode placement your lights will function as follows: In auto mode- whenever your lights come on automatically the fogs will be on also. Low Beams & Fogs- Only Low Beams & Fogs will be on High Beams- Low Beams, Fog Lights, & High Beams will all be on (normally by default) The vehicle turns off the fogs when in h
  16. Hey guys hoping y’all could give me some insight on the custom trail boss 5.3 6 speed 3.42 gears with it’s towing if anyone has this model and tows with it let me know how it felt to y’all. I’m going to tow my buddies jeep Cherokee to His home state which is about 700 miles. Will probably go through some hills and mountains in TN. Does the the power train struggle with towing because of the 32 inch durratracs?
  17. I understand this topic has been around for some time, but I recently purchased a 2019 Silverado LD (same body style as the 2014-2018 models). When I look for aftermarket mods/information, I have been referencing the 2018 model year. In particular, my Silverado is a 2019 LD LT Z71, Double Cab, Midnight Edition w/ the All Star package (a lot to digest there!). The mods I have done in no particular order of completion are: 2" Zone Leveling Kit Rough Country rubber bed mat Driver & passenger window tint (35%) Upgraded to LED bulbs in cargo, reverse and license pla
  18. Did you know you can upgrade your gauge cluster in your 2014-2020 Silverado or Sierra? We recently did just that on our 2019 Silverado LTZ which came from the factory with a "mid-level" gauge cluster. Click here to read our review of the White Automotive and Media Gauge Cluster Upgrade https://www.gm-trucks.com/white-automotive-upgrade-heres-how-to-add-a-digital-gauge-cluster-to-your-silverado-or-sierra/
  19. Ever since my last oil change and recall service to the brake pad sensors, I have been hearing a frequent double popping noise on the right side of my truck, seemingly favoring the front wheel area. This noise is impossible to forcibly repeat, however, like clockwork it always occurs twice (two double pops) on my way to and from work (and yes, the road is absolutely smooth, no bumps or pot holes to cause this). This typically occurs at around 60mpg and every 5-10 miles. Everyone I have talked to including the service department at my local GM have no clue what is going on. The truck will be go
  20. 2019 GMC Canyon all terrain bought in July 2019 with 12000km on it has clicking noise in drivers side between doors around seat belt adjuster (B- pillar area). Had the truck to two separate dealerships 7 times altogether with no success after the dealer trying different things including: 1.Replaced rear side door arm rest cover trim 2.Center pillar upper trim panel replaced 3.Replaced clips in door 4.Replaced power door lock actuator (which was very loose according to them) 5.Replaced all door weather striping. Not something you would expect from a new truck. An
  21. I just bought a white frost 2019 Sierra Denali and want to blackout all the chrome on it. Anyone have experience doing this? Want to do all the badges, grill, door handles etc. I’m thinking I will take the chrome grill and lower insert around the tow hooks out and acid wash them to remove the chrome and get back to the ABS plastic and have them painted, but didn’t know if there was an option that was better? Here’s a couple of the pictures as is now. I’ve ordered black 22” rims and the leveling kit, but once those are on I want to get the rest of it blacked out. Thanks
  22. I recently installed the upgraded digital dash in our LTZ that did not have it thanks to White Automotive and Media Services. The process turned out to be quite a bit more daunting than I had expected. I had found a few posts (here and another better start here) that talked about upgrading the gauge cluster, however I could not find any specific step by step instructions to gain access. Here's the obligatory "After" photo showing our new gauge cluster! With plenty of reasons for everyone to access the radio, center console, and gauge cluster, I thought a
  23. I discovered this problem while trying to pull into parking spaces; that when the 4WD is engaged I cannot turn the wheel all the way left or right without disengaging the transmission and revving the engine. This has led to several near-accidents in busy parking lots full of holiday shoppers when I suddenly stop moving and have to put my hazard flashers on mid-turn. I then put it in 2WD and park. The work-around I have come up with is to put it in 2WD after entering a lot but before trying to park, which is first off ridiculous and also not always realistically possible. I apologize if someone
  24. What size tires should I use on my RC 3.5 inch lift on my 2019 Sierra? Big enough so they look nice on the truck and nothing to crazy maybe 30’s?
