  1. 2014 Sierra 5.3 My truck developed a new shake/hard vibration. While in park I feel it a little, but when I shift to Reverse the shakes starts. Then when I shift to Neutral, it's stops. When in drive, the shakes starts again. Blower motor seems to be fine. While in Park, the motor and belts look normal. As well as under the truck, nothing seems to be moving. Engine mounts looks solid.
  2. Hello everyone, On my 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali I did a hood air induction vent swap for a chrome vent cover and while I was at it I added Led RGB lights inside the vent taking care not to restrict the air flow. Has anyone else done any chrome or Led RGB mods? If so lets see them please.
  3. I’m installing some lights in the grill of my AT4 and would like them to come on with the parking lights. I do not want to cut into the wiring. Does anyone know a good place to pick up a connection to not have to splice wires?
  4. Let’s see some pictures of those refreshed silverados/sierras.
  5. 2017 GMC Sierra I want to fit 35s on my stock wheels and have the smallest lift i can do. I don’t want to do a whole lot of cutting maybe no cutting at all. What size lift or level can I do
  6. Would like to know if I can turn off the seat belt chime. I wear the belt on the highway but around job sites It's a pain.
  7. I am having problems with my air conditioning again. My A/C is blowing warm air and this is the second time I have had this problem since buying my 2015 Sierra less than 6 months ago. A few months ago I had the exact same problem and my dealership diagnosed it as a leaking hose and all of the freon was gone. They had to order a new hose and it took a week for it to come in. They installed the new hose and added more freon and it has been fine for the past 3 months until today. This morning I noticed that the air coming out was warmer than normal even though I have the A/C set at 65 degrees. It was fine yesterday. I am going to monitor it and see if it gets worse and if so make an appointment to take it to the dealer again. Just wondering if anyone else has had to replace the hose or had a freon issue with their 2014 or 2015 Sierra / Silverado?
  8. I've been wanting to install longtube headers on my 2007 sierra classic for awhile and now that I've noticed that the OEM exhaust manifold is cracked and one stud is broken I think it's the time to do so. Just wondering what info i should know before doing so. Do I need to have it tuned? I currently have a cold air intake, throttle body spacer and cat back exhaust but that's pretty much it.
  9. Currently have my 2020 Gmc sierra 1500 with a build date of 09/2019 at the dealer with 2kmiles on it. Battery was dead one morning. After jump starting had check engine light and brake antilock system issue sent to my email. Truck would not hold a charge after leaving it on for a good 30 min. Its been at the dealer for 3days now.
  10. Ok, something just started happening with our 2016 GMC 2500HD Denali 4x4 with the diesel. The remote door lock and unlock won't work every time from either of our fobs. We bought this truck last August so I can't imagine the batteries in both of our fobs have died at the exact same time and only 7 months in. My fob gets used the most with my wife's fob barely getting used at all. Anyone else experience/experiencing this? And, what did you do to remedy it? I guess we can try replacing batteries first, but batteries only lasting 7 months in a fob? And both failing at the same time, especially given one gets frequent use and one barely gets any use. We know it's not a fuse because it does work from time to time.
  11. I saw this video comparing most GMC Sierra 1500 exhaust but still cannot decide. https://youtu.be/UQsP4qnVbOM?t=61 Any tips on the best GMC Sierra 1500 exhaust? hp? sound? I would appreciate hearing from those that already upgraded their exhaust.
  12. I just purchased a 2021 GMC Sierra truck. I have set the channels which are staying set but the EQ settings keep going back to default settings when I get in and restart the truck back up. Any suggestions?
  13. Zane Merva Executive Editor, GM-Trucks.com 3/5/2018 With the debut of GMC's all new and very fancy MultiPro Tailgate last week in Detroit questions have been floated regarding various aspects of the design and how available the tailgate will truly be. So, we reached out to GMC directly and have some answers for you. Here we are in no particular order: Will the MultiPro be available on any trim level other than SLT and Denali? YES. Although only the SLT and Denali trim levels were mentioned last week, we can confirm the MultiPro tailgate will be available on the SLE trim level as well. Can I open the MultiPro with the keyfob? YES. Just the tailgate as a whole, however. There's no option to open the inner section unless you do it with the button on the gate. Will the MultiPro prevent itself from opening into mounted ball hitch? NO. This is the biggest issue we can see with the MultiPro going forward. The inner gate is fully susceptible to damage from a mounted trailer hitch. GMC does mention that a warning sticker will be present to remind owners not to do just this. Owners will have to remember going forward that if they leave a ball hitch mounted, the MultiPro WILL HIT IT. Will GMC offer a manual (cheaper) version of the MultiPro later on? UNDETERMINED. GMC wouldn't answer our questions about a cheaper, manual version of the MultiPro in the future. We think it would be a great idea and GMC punting the question means the option is in play for the future. Will Chevrolet ever get the MultiPro? LIKELY. Although no-one from Chevy is talking, we expect the Silverado to get the MultiPro (or a Chevy-named version) at some point in the near future, perhaps in model year two (2020)
  14. Has anyone taken off the roll bar of a All-Terrain X and re-wired the 3rd brake light??? Love the truck, didn't like the roll bar, want my 3rd brake light to work Thanks!!!
  15. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem with there 4L80e transmissions. On my truck the transmission overheats when driving with no load on rather mild days (75 degrees F). My truck is a 2006 2500hd 6.0l 4x4 and I have an extra trans cooler in addition to the factory auxiliary cooler. Initially I was thinking that my coolers were plugged because the line coming from the transmission was hot and the line returning from the coolers was the same as ambient temp. Thinking that the coolers were plugged I tried flushing them, forward and reverse, I even removed them, and I still get that condition of one cooling line being hot and the other being cold. I started to think that maybe the cooling lines have a blockage so i flushed them as well (both forward and reverse) but still the same problem ( i also verified that the radiator did not have a blockage since the heat in the line is past the radiator). Since this did not work I took the truck in to have the transmission flushed just in case there was something going on the the transmission. The shop checkout the pan, filter and fluid and said it looked good (no metal shavings, minimal debris, not burnt). This shop used the HotFlush system to flush the system. Even after the flush the same problem. The system is acting like the transmission is not letting the oil back into the transmission from the oil cooler return line. Does anyone here know what could be causing this? Outside of this issue the transmission is stock and is running fine. please help thanks
  16. I just purchased 2021 Sierra at4, and I couldn’t find where to turn on the rain-sensing wiper. I live in pacific northwest, so rain-sensing wiper is a very handy to have. I had this feature on my previous cars, I assumed it should be standard on this truck at this price range as well. Does anyone know how to activate it? Also can I change the air conditioning temperature unit to centigrade without changing anything else? Like right know when I changed the unit to metric the speed also change to km/h.
  17. Hey guys, I have a nice set of Metallic Brown door handles off my 2015 Silverado CCSB. I upgraded to chrome handles, so I don't have a use for these anymore. $60 shipped
  18. I have been through the menu's 100 times. How do you get the exterior temperature on the instrument cluster? It shows up fine on the Infotainment system however when using car play you cannot see external temp. Simply looking to have it displayed on the instrument cluster. Seems like an easy feature to be missing and get added. Thanks!
  19. This past Friday morning went and started my truck to get warm came back about 5-10 minutes later with the truck off lights still on and it’s throwing engine reduced power and p0641 code. Truck won’t turn over at all. Any ideas or tips? Thank you in advance
  20. Hello, for the past two years my truck (2015 Sierra 1500 All Terrain) has been intermittently flashing service lights saying the to service ABS, to service stabillitrac, and to service parking sensors. This would happen a few times a month and would immediately go away and I would think that it was just an annoying bug. But since about a month ago, when making low speed left turns, as well as any size bump, caused it to happen. This worsens into ABS light and stabillitrac light on for one day. While this happened you could feel the ABS pumping at when braking normally. This too went away the next day. I took the truck to the dealer for a diagnostic and told them all of this as well. After the $190 diagnosis they said it was the following codes (attached photo) C0035-04, C0040-04, and C0035-0F. they told me both front hubs were bad and needed replacement. They wanted $1800 for parts and labor. I told them thank you and paid the diagnosis and took the truck home. After the dealer the trucks electronics and 10x worse. Now the ABS and Stabillitrac lights stay on permanently, the brake light dings and flashes with any turn of the steering wheel. Also getting constant service ABS, service trailer brakes, Service stabillitrac, and reduced steering assist. I bought both front hubs and wheel speed sensors. I installed them and torqued everything back to spec. After reconnecting the battery and taking a test drive nothing had changed. I took the top panel from the dash off and did the ground mods. Again, no change. I’m going crazy trying to find the problem. I the. Took the truck to autozone for a code read. It still says the same three codes and it did, even after replacing the parts and sensors the dealer said would work. If anyone knows what the cause is it would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance, Dave

  22. My whole right side sound system quit working out of the blue I have an 09 sierra with the bose system if I turn the balance all the way to the right and crank it I get nothing at all except very slightly out of the pillar tweeter any ideas?
  23. Hi Everyone, I could have sworn I already posted this, but I can't find it anywhere. My 2015 GMC Sierra All Terrain SLT 1500 truck's media center seems is glitchy, it's either that or I have a haunted truck. I'll be driving and my radio display and my odometer display will randomly start selecting items and cycling through the menu, it will randomly change stations, and one time it even selected voice command, all without any input. Anyway, I've experienced this issue before and I took it to the dealer and while they told me they had never heard or seen the issue before they suggested that they would perform a software / firmware update on my infotainment / intellilink system to see if that would fix the issue and it worked.... for a few months, now it's back. I was wondering if anyone here has experienced the same thing and if they were able to find a permanent fix for it? It is absolutely annoying and very distracting. I have searched this forum and I haven't seen a post from a member that has the same thing that I have experienced. Any help would be appreciated, I'd like to have a permanent fix for this once and for all. I've include a video of what's going on.
  24. So up until yesterday the truck was driving relatively smoothly, there was the occasional hard shift from 1st to 2nd (which I believe these trucks are known for). I stopped at a stop light yesterday and started going and then at about 20 MPH the truck decided it didnt want to shift. This happened a few times throughout the day and seemed to get worse as the day went on and at this point it now does it every time it gets down into the lower gears. I switched to manual to see what gear it was stuck in and it showed 2nd and then 3rd after it shifted and didnt want to shift up. EDIT: Transmission temps when I was looking did not appear to get above 205 F, Fluid is red like it should be, level seems fine. Is there a known issue with these transmissions or an easy fix I can attempt? Transmissions are voodoo to me
  25. I have a 2011 GMC Sierra Denali with a park assist problem I’m hoping someone can help me solve. A couple months ago, I started getting a sporadic “park assist blocked” error. This is pretty common as the sensors are covered in snow in the winter. However, I then noticed the sensors began to work sporadically even if they were clear. A month or so after that, the message changed to “service park assist” and the system automatically disables itself. The button on the dash shows the system is off all the time and when I try to turn it back on, the orange light flashes for two seconds but then disables itself again. I’ve checked the fuse and unplugged the battery but have not been able to get it to reset. Does this seem like a sensor issue or a control module? Any ideas for next steps? Unfortunately since the system is disabled all the time I can’t check to see if one sensor is malfunctioning as I’ve read about on other forums. Update: when I started my truck once this week it randomly worked for 10 seconds then disabled itself again and hasn’t worked since.
