When I bought my truck in September, I couldn't believe how quiet the exhaust was on a 420hp motor. But I have to remind myself I'm not the target market because the majority of truck buyers these days want quiet and luxury. My first attempt was the muffler delete. I was looking for an affordable option since I was also looking at a potential real estate investment at the time. Honestly, it turned out really good. It was much louder on startup and in town but surprisingly quiet on the highway since I left both flappers in. The best part is it only cost $75. The downside was a slight drone on steady hills and a much louder DFM noise. I could have lived with that except I could tell the truck had a lot more in it. That brings me to my new Corsa exhaust. I've been hoarding these stimulus payments so I figured, why not. For anyone looking - CSP racing has the system around $200 less than anyone else and free shipping. Man... this exhaust really woke the truck up. I know people say this a lot but it really does feel like a different truck. The sound is excellent. My Corvette has the Corsa system as well and it sounds very similar to it on startup and high RPM. Throttle response is way better and it even climbs hills on my regular route a gear higher than it did before. You can just tell how much better the truck breathes with a catback system and those flappers gone. I didn't realize how restrictive they are. And in typical Corsa fashion, it's absolutely silent on the highway. The installation wasn't bad and only took a couple of hours with no lift. Getting the old system off was much harder than getting the new one on. I didn't want the cut the factory exhaust so I can go back to factory when I sell or trade the truck and even without my muffler in the way, it was a bear to get loose and drag out. The only downside is I wish it were louder at lower RPM but overall I'm really happy with it. Sorry, no sound clips yet. I'll work on that. Thanks @TNTSilverado for suggesting this system and giving good advice.

Anyone else out there waiting for Corsa to get their cat back out for our 2019 6.2's with CC and standard bed? I'm hoping it will be out soon. Kind of disappointed that they don't have it out yet. I know the standard bed hasn't been out very long, only 3 months. I wish I lived closer to them, they could have used my truck as a test bed for the new exhaust. But a 10hr drive is just a bit to far away. It will be interesting to hear the difference between the GM performance exhaust, Borla, Flowmaster and Corsa.

After intense searching on CL and FB Marketplace, I finally found a good deal on a catback. I was really hoping for the Borla Touring or Corsa Touring, but what came up is the Borla Atak, not that I'm complaining! So I made the deal and it's currently sitting in my garage, brand new in the box, waiting for me to install it. I've watched a million videos (not literally but probably close to it!) on YouTube. I know it's gonna be loud. Do I want an exhaust that loud? How much louder is it going to be after it breaks in? What about when I tow? Am I going to go deaf when driving through the hills of Tennessee and Kentucky? When I was 20, I would have NEVER hesitated to install something like this, but that is not necessarily the case now. I know it's gonna sound BA, but I'm hesitant. Help!

Cold start and idle of my Corsa Sport on the Avy. Sounds incredible under load and WOT and very quiet in the cabin when just driving regularly. Definitely wife approved (and that counts for a lot LOL). Hope you enjoy

I'm looking to buy or trade a Corsa Sport muffler only, for a Corsa Touring muffler for the 5.3L. The Sport is a bit too aggressive for me at my age.

I just purchased a 2015 Crew Cab Denali, 6.2L and took delivery two weeks ago. Have considered upgrading the exhaust with either the GM supported Borla or the Corsa - both cat back exhaust systems. I prefer the look and sound of the Corsa system but am concerned about any adverse implications that might arise when having warranty work done. Can any provide advise here beyond just "go with Borla since it is GM supplied/approved". Anyone have any experience with Corsa and warranty implications? Thanks!

John Goreham Contributing Writer, GM-Trucks.com 3/19/2015 Corsa has announced new exhaust systems designed specifically for the all new 2015 Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon SUVs. Engineered to work with the 5.3-liter V8, these cat-back systems are 50-state legal like all Corsa systems. Corsa says the systems weigh in at seven pounds less than the OEM systems and improves airflow by up to 53%. Using Corsa's Reflective Sound Cancellation technology, the exhaust note is tuned to have a high-performance note under steady-state power, but to have a deep, robust note under throttle. Polished or black exhaust tips with laser etched Corsa logo are offered. For more information see Corsa's website.

Hey Guys for sale I have a Corsa Sport muffler ONLY. No tubing. You could have a shop do the tubing pretty easily. It has a 3" inlet and 3" outlet. This is a straight through muffler design. It sounds mean! I am asking $300 + shipping. I am located in Chicago, IL. Will gladly do a local transaction. Paypal only either way. Let me know with questions. Was on the truck for about 9,000 miles. Pics below: (edit: sorry for the monster pictures lol)
