I installed the gm led bed perimeter lights on my silverado last night. This morning when I went out, I noticed a left and right rear turn indicator failure on the dic. I get 3 normal signal indicator then they are rapid. I also notice that only the lower tail lights work, not the top ones. Any ideas? Thanks -
Any Canadians have these problems? Apparently I am the first/only case gm canada has of non working LEDs on the radio knobs. I was told fm reception is fine and not an issue in these vehicles. -
After installing my aftermarket HIDs and having no issues for about a week, I just noticed my passenger side light has the high beam stuck on the on position. I've tried turning on my high beams and turning them back off but it looks to be stuck. Is this electrical related or mechanical related? I mean, do I need to take the headlamp assembly apart or is it a fix on the electrical wiring side? I have no clue how it works....and advice? Should I just take it into the dealership and say the high beams screwed up or would they say its because I installed a aftermarket HID kit? -
Hey all, Ordered my '14 Denali two weeks ago. Still sitting at 1100. Dealer said engine on constraint and look at 8-12 weeks, which is perfectly fine. My question is...I listen to Pandora almost exclusively. Due to the CRTC BS I use a VPN connection to the US and then launch the app. Works great. Anyone know if I take the truck to a US GM dealer if they would be able to re-flash it to re-enable Pandora, text to speech etc? I know there is an aftermarket programming company, I am not really interested in that. Cheers

issue HD radio complaints only

Attention : owners with problems with HD radio. Go to [email protected] or just Google Ibiquity and choose contact us. These are the people responsible for our problems, it is their technology. When you get there they ask for comments. There are 2 lines in orange,choose the one that says HD radio experience. They ask for a station, then there are places to comment. Let them know how you feel about the performance of your radio. Be sure to mention you have a 2014 GM truck. They even have a picture of the radio in a 2014 GM truck on the home page. If enough people complain to them, maybe they can light a fire under GM to do something. Nothing will get done from GM so please If you have a problem do this, you paid good money you deserve good service. Thanks. I posted this in the other HD section but this should not be buried 9 pages back, sorry moderators. See update post several posts down. I have tried to explain this as it was explained to me. issue Odd errors on DIC

Something odd just happened. Started the truck and the DIC started to alert me to a bunch of items requiring service. They were popping up so fast it was hard to see them all, so I'll say what I can remember. "Power steering reduced power, please drive carefully" "Stabilitrak requires service" "Park assist requires service" along with the button flashing. Might have been a couple more but they kept popping up over the last on before I could read them. Turned off the vehicle and restarted, same thing. One more time, same thing. 4th try all errors gone. I quickly plugged in my OBD2 scanner and received an error code that I failed to save due to lack of experience with the tool, something like U00## (where ## = 72 or something like that). Can Communication Bus A ....something something. Can't seem to recover the exact code now and drove home fine. Thoughts? I'm scheduled to drop it off at the dealer for some other items next week so I'll mention it to them as well. -
FYI Just went to the local spray wash to clean off a weeks worth of salt spray. While washing the rear I noticed some moisture in the rear passenger lens. Upon looking closer, I noticed a crack in the lens. There is no marks or damage, just a crack. It has been below -10 for a few days. Just posting to let others know. Dealer said they will replace it.
