  1. I have a 2000 Silverado 2500 6.0 that is having some hesitation/cutting out on acceleration. It’s weird it seems like if you ease into the throttle it doesn’t cut out but if you mash on the gas it acts like it wants to die. It does it in park and in drive. First noticed it when I was pulling my boat out of the lake and I could barely make it up the boat ramp, it was spitting in sputtering until it eventually seems like it cleared up and started going normal. I replaced the spark plugs, spark plug wires, fuel pump, fuel filter, ran seafoam through the gas, and change the air filter but it seems to not of helped there’s also no check engine light. What could be the issue, thanks!
  2. I just bought a 99 gmc 2500 2wd 5.7. It had water in the fuel when i bought but i have taken the tank off and cleaned the system thoroughly bought new spark plugs and wire and fuel filter I've run two tanks of premium and a can of sea foam in each. in spite of all that the engine is still missing and blowing white smoke. Today i checked the fuel pressure and it is steady at 50 psi. also before i bought the truck it had been sitting up for around a year. not really sure what to do next. thanks
  3. I have a 2003 silverado and it started running rough. when engine is still cold and i take off it hesitates and pops and spits then starts running ok then at road speeds with the rpm in the 1500 to 2000 range it will hesitate for a split second then back to normal. sometimes it will totally stall out. The check engine light came on and i had it scanned and the codes P0100 and P0174 show. I've replaced the MAF sensor more than once, replaced the MAP sensor and even the MAF pigtail. Finally fed up and took to mechanic and he hooked it up to his computer and it shows lean. he changes parameters so it will dump in more fuel and when he did that it still said lean. He has checked O2 sensors, intake for leaks, all plugs and wires and vacuum leaks. I am sure he will get the problem identified but it will probably not be fast enough for me. LOL. so, any clues what it could be? He is leaning towards the computer being bad
  4. I have a 1999 sierra with a 6.0. It has a really bad miss and the lights dim and the volt gauge drops from 14.1 down to about 9 when the rpm's get over 2500. but if i turn the tow haul on it will go up to 4000 rpm's before it does it. i have changed the battery, alternator, plugs and wires. I still getting upset and i just want it fixxed. Any ideas?
