I have a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 4x4. I am looking at adding a 2" leveling kit and i was also looking to get new tires to make it look a little more aggressive. I want to keep the tire height stock (since i want to be able to use my spare under the truck and not take up valuable bed space lugging around a larger spare). I was wondering if anyone has had any experience doing this and maybe having the same height tire, but with a wider tire than the stock (if that makes sense). Obviously I am not too knowledgeable and I want to make sure i know the cons before making a purchase. Ultimately i would like to go with a larger tire but like i said I dont want to lug around a bigger spare that cant fit underneath. But i like the look of trucks with the all terrain tires that are wider. Also a question when it comes to wider tires, do i need wider rims? How does that work? Also, If i do find a wider tire that is the same height as the stock tire, is there any harm if i were to get a flat and had to use the skinnier, stock spare? I would get larger tires but i was told that i would need a larger spare otherwise i could damage other components. I am all over the place, hopefully someone can help. Thanks in advance. Ted

I have a 2014 Sierra 1500. Everything is currently stock. i might add a leveling kit or small lift sometime in the future. But i am currently looking to get some new wheels since it is almost time for new tires. I am not too good with the calculations so i was hoping you all could help. I am looking into the Fuel assault wheels (18"x9") paired with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrec tires (265x65R18). These are offered in -12mm, 01mm, 20mm offset. which offset would be best? I wouldn't mind the tires sticking out slightly, but nothing obnoxious. Also will these tires fit without rubbing? I was also looking at the same setup but with the fuel assault wheels (20"x9") paired with the Goodyear Duratrec tires (275x55R20). Would these fit without rubbing? Also, what offset? They are offered in 1mm and 20 mm). Like I said i am new to this but would like to add a more aggressive look to my truck when i get new tires. I just want to make sure they fit without rubbing or any other problems. thanks in advance! Ted

I did a quick search on here and didn't see any other instances but... Has anyone had any issues with the chrome finish chipping in the inner radius of the wheel spokes? It's weird because it's only one of the four rims... I made a complaint to the dealer today while it's in for service so we'll see what they say. You can't see the peeling in the picture - only the location of the issue. Thanks in advance. - Jon

I have decided to sell/trade my 2015 sierra 1500 crew cab z71 4x4. Since they offer no additional money for after market parts I pulled the majority of them off of the truck to try and recoup some money. Below is a list of what has been pulled off. I'd rather sell locally (Fresno California) but the smaller items I'm willing to ship at the buyers expense the only thing I don't want to ship are the wheels and tires. All prices are negotiable. There's lots of pictures of the truck they came off in my gallery. I just pulled everything this weekend so I haven't had a chance to take pictures of the parts since removing them. 18x9 -12 offset fuel PVD chrome boost wheels with Nitto Ridge Grappler in 33x12.50r18 Tires have approximately 12k miles on them. local pick up only. $1500 AMP power steps for crew cab, Comes with module to plug into ODB 2 port for operation doesn't require installing any door switches for activation. $900 Sulastic rear shackles - $275 Cognito ball joint upper control Arms - $350 These fit the stamped steel or aluminum trucks, The same arm can be used on the forged steel trucks but requires the purchase of new ball joints from Cognito. These have been sold 2016 Denali LED headlights - $1100 you will need an adapter harness depending on what truck you want to swap these onto. Zone 1.5" body lift - $100 comes with front and rear bumper brackets.

Like New 20" GMC Sierra OEM 6 Spoke Rims. These have the original tires Goodyear Wrangler 275 / 55R20 installed as well with ~4-5mm of tread left. The rims are in perfect shape, no scratches or gouges, they have been babied and only have 36K miles on them.See the photos below, they were just washed (sorry for the water on them) I swapped rims / tires for my truck and don't want these to go to waste. $1000 for all 4 Rims and Tires - Local Pickup or meeting

I'm halfway thru getting my 18" snowflakes replaced under warranty due to the finish peeling. The dealer is having trouble getting new rims which are not scratched. I noticed that one of the new rims they installed has a string of 12 x 3 oz weights glued to the rim. This wheel is using one of my original tires and I never had more than one weight on my old rims. Other than the string of weights not looking so good, do 12 weights indicate a low quality rim ?

Hello, I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500hd (new body style, not classic). This is the first truck I have ever owned. I am a female with limited knowledge about tires and wheels. Currently, my truck has tiny 16 inch stock wheels. The truck is not lifted but I plan to level it when I get new wheels/tires. I would like a "beefed up" look without having to make any modifications other than leveling. My primary use for the truck is hauling horses. I have a standard bumper pull trailer and plan to get a gooseneck in the future. What are some appropriate and safe size options? Thanks! Also, I have a friend selling 20 inch wheels on 35x12.5r20 with a 8x6.5 lug pattern....would this work? Thanks!!

I took these off the same day I purchased my 2017 Denali last week. I have both the sales receipt of the vehicle and the receipt indicating installation of my new aftermarket wheels the same day for proof. These have less than 8 miles on them. 20" wheels and Goodyear LS2 tires. PM me a reasonable offer, best offer takes it.

I have a question, what is the biggest tire size you can fit on a 20X12 -44 wheel with just a leveling kit? i know this is a long shot but i want to stay leveled with a wide stance. Thanks in advance

I found some 2013 GM 22 inch rims on craigslist for a good deal. $500 for the set, used but in pretty good shape. a few nicks here and there and did nick a curb but not bad. Anyways, i'm in need of some TPMS and tires. I'm running a stock 14 silverado crew cab 4x4 with no lift or level. Wondering what size tire you suggest and where is a good place to buy aftermarket TPMS. I found some on Amazon but not sure if thats what people would suggest. I was thinking 285/45/22 for size and maybe running Lionharts or Sentury? or do i need to step up to goodyears or falken ziex as a minimum. I'm only going to run the rims in the Summer.

Up for sale are a set of 265/65R18 Goodyear Wranglers.. less than 10 miles on them! Rims are the factory twin spoke 18" rims.. All the rims are perfect except for one small rash but can hardly tell. It is balanced and does have TPMS in it as well as center caps. All ready to slap on a truck! Asking $900 OBO. Located in 02062. Don't think I'd be willing to ship but can be convinced. Will be cleaned of course! More pictures to come.

I have a 2016 Silverado that's deep ocean blue with the only aftermarket thing just tinted windows and the chip to get rid of the v8 to v4 mode and I am undecided on what wheels I want to buy for it. It currently has the stock oem 18's on it and I want to put 22'' wheels on it but can't decide between black or gunmetal ones. I am wondering if anyone else has the same year and color as I do that put 22'' wheels on and and is willing to share a picture of it so I can see a few different ones before I make up my mind. I am hoping to see a few pictures of both black and gunmetal ones. I thank you in advance for your help!

I was looking and found some awesome rims but I wasn't sure if my tires which are 325/60r20 would fit on them.

I just ordered a new set of wheels and tires for my 2015 Sierra Denali Crew Cab that i purchased last weekend. I'll be getting them installed this week, so my Stock Wheels and tires will be up for sale. They have 150 miles on them right now, and likely will have 300 or so when i pull them off. Still brand new in my book. The rims look brand new have no curb rash, and tires look new too. Caps, and lug nuts included, but no sensors. Tires are Goodyear Eagle LS.2 - 275/55/r20 -Mike
