  1. New vibrations after clutch job . Any suggestions?
  2. I have a 2020 HD Silverado Diesel. I noticed after several hundred mile a weried sensation coming from the steering column. When I’m driving down the highway for example and driving straight , when I turn the steering wheel slightly to the left of right I feel a slight vibration and is if there is play in the steering column. Like a disconnect feeling. There’s almost a slight grinding feel like it might be coming from the steering box. When I’m turning on a long turn left or right I can really feel it, negative feedback reverberating through the steering column. Dealership has replaced the steering ad steering box, put on new front tires and torque all suspension parts up front. After all these repairs I still get this vibrations, shimming feeling in and through the steering column. Also when the truck is idling with foot on brake and I turn the steering wheel slight to the left or right I get a slight vibration in steering snd I can feel it in the brake pedal. I’m very frustrated because I got a call today from dealership and there basically are now saying it’s within the factory spec of vibration. I dislike this feeling the steering column has this bad feedback I can feel in the steering column. I’ve let three people drive the truck and they all are feeling what I’m feeling. Any help or advice would be welcome... Thank you
  3. Long history but short of it is long standing vibration seems to be related to tire temperature. 2015 GMC Yukon. New Tires (Bridgestone Dueler HL) 1/31/2020 w/Alignment. They noticed front right strut was leaking and replaced. Vehicle seemed to drive without issue for at least 2-3 months. COVID-19 hit and I hardly drove anywhere for a few months. There was a month span where my truck left the garage only a handful of times. Tires have 3k miles on them despite being 9 months old now. Around July I started driving a bit more and I noticed a pretty bad road vibration and started looking at remaining shocks. Replaced 2 years and it seemed to help as they were leaking and then remaining front strut as it was leaking hoping this would resolve my issue. Took it to the dealer and they road force balanced and rotated, not finding any suspension or tire issues. When I drove away, there was a hard pull to the left. Took it to local shop as I figured it was an alignment but alignment was dead on. They road force balanced and rotated and pull went away. I later found out one of the tires had conicity and was replaced and pull went away. This week in Houston we had a bit of a cold front and I noticed it was driving back to normal, like earlier in the year. Yesterday I was driving around and noticed as soon as the tires started to heat up to 38psi (Cold tire pressure is 35psi), the vibration started to get worse so I pulled over and deflated 2 psi. Next tire got up to 38 and vibration started and I did the same thing and it went away for 10 minutes but came back as the tires seemed to warm up and inflate more due to that. Today I drove trying to reproduce and it seemed to drive better than yesterday and took about 40 mins to get some vibrations that were not even as bad as they have been before. Am I working out some flat spotting? Or is it possible that some tires that have issues that show when they warmed up? Or is it possible I have a suspension issue that slightly under-inflated tires are masking? I plan on going back to the dealer and have them run a picoscope to confirm the source of the vibration and look again. Questions I should be asking them, things I should verify they're checking, etc? This issue has been driving me crazy for months and seems to be going away on its own due to cold temp (55-60F in the mornings, high of 85F) versus the triple digits we were getting in the summer. Looking back at the Jan-March timeframe it would have been around the same temp here so I'm wondering if I'm exposing a temperature related issue with the tires that shows up when the ambient temp is much warmer or the tires have a chance to get hotter. I have the full story documented here before I even thought it might be tire related
  4. I am a proud owner of a GMC Yukon 2016 Denali. Since these cars are not officially available in Europe, I imported a Yukon. Basically, I am very satisfied with the vehicle. But unfortunately, I have a problem with the vehicle, and nobody could help me so far: The car vibrates quite heavily and uncomfortably. The vibrations started when I stopped at the side of the road to let my wife get out. The engine lamp flashed, and the vehicle had hardly any power left. I drove about 1/4 mile, stopped again, and switched off the car. Afterward, I waited for over one minute and then restarted the car. The engine light stayed off, and so I was able to drive on. Also, the power was as usual again. But from there on I had vibrations which I didn't have before. So I went to a service station to read out any errors and get some help. But there were no errors detected. Since the vibrations did not disappear on the next miles, I went to the dealer again. They reprogrammed the ECU unit with the latest software and balanced the tires. Nothing has changed. So I went to another dealer, hoping that it could help me in a better way. They told me that my tires were worn out and that they could cause the vibrations. We changed all four tires. The handling was a bit better afterward, but the vibrations remained. Because in my country there are just about 10 GMC Yukon and a few Escalades driving around, no dealer has a clue and can solve my problem. Therefore I did a lot of research on the internet and on the paid platform of GM (ACDelco TDS) - unfortunately without success so far. I am also familiar with the service bulletins for the 8-speed automatic transmission. But I can exclude these vibrations so far. I have some of these vibrations in my car. However, I have now imported the right oil from Texas by ship, and I will do the oil change within the next days. But the other vibrations are noticeable at any speed, even at only 1 or 2 mph or over 100 mph. Especially when I ride uphill or downhill, it vibrates a lot. As if I had no suspension in the back and the vehicle would bounce around. The vibrations are mainly felt in the seat. Very slightly also in the steering wheel. From the beginning, my car tends to steer slightly to the left. But I never paid much attention to this, because measuring the track showed that everything is ok. I am aware that a remote diagnosis is challenging. But perhaps you have any ideas where I should proceed with my further diagnosis? Is the suspension the right start, the drive shaft, or the wheel mounting? Or could it be the engine mounting? Or something completely different? What is the best way to proceed?
  5. Hi everyone, new to the forum but I’m at the end of my ropes here this is my Hail Mary. So I have a 2016 Silverado crew cab 6.5’ bed 5.3l 4WD 6 speed automatic transmission. The transmission was fully rebuilt at 75,000 The truck has 89,000 miles on it. I am complaining about a shake/vibration of course but I don’t feel as if mine is like most. Mine doesn’t seem as violent as others describe. I’m experiencing a vibration and a noise almost like driving over rumble strip in the road. This problem comes about when you are gentle on the throttle and at a lower rpm around 1200-1500. If you feather the throttle at 55 MPH you can easily replicate the issue. Next is issue number 2 I’m not sure if they are related but my gut is telling me they are, I recently noticed when stopped then slowly take off as in just letting the truck roll at idle of the line I feel like a small wobble/bounce as it kind of rocks you back and forth in your seat. Both issues go away once you give it more throttle. I’ve had the torque converter replaced first once the issue came back I then I’ve changed the transmission fluid to the updated fluid, rotated the driveshaft 180 degrees and that has been the longest fix for 3 weeks. Any suggestions are helpful and appreciated and thanks in advance
  6. This truck is my first 4WD/4x4. So a few weeks ago, I put my truck in 4HI, to drive in the snow, no issues. Put it back into 2WD, when I got home, and haven't needed it since, until this afternoon. When I put it in 4HI, it was grind/vibration central, but when I put it back in 4AUTO or 2WD, there is no issues.
  7. Hi All, Realize there are a lot of threads on this but nothing recent that I can find and nothing on a 2019 model. I have a 2019 Tahoe LT, purchased 08/18, that was a great truck until now. I took it to dealer in 09/19 for oil change/tire rotation at 6,200 miles and felt a vibration upon leaving. I was surprised they could change oil, rotate and balance 4 tires and do a multipoint inspection in 45 min. I thought ok, their balance machine is not right. Vibration turned violent within ~500 miles so I took it to a Firestone tire shop. 2 of the 4 were way out of balance and 2 others were out of balance but to a lesser extent. Did NOT solve shake. Took back to dealer 10/19 at 7,500 miles and complained of shake. They did road force balance and replaced 2 tires. Ran okay for ~700 miles then was back with a vengeance. Returned to dealer 11/19 8,500 miles with same complaint. Ended up doing road force balance again and 2 more new tires. Thing shook as a drove away. Truck is at the dealer now and I'm dealing with service director who claims per the picoscopre, everything is fine and within spec. Running fine. I'm going for a test drive with him tomorrow morning. Has anyone had this issue on a '19? Has anyone had any success getting this issue solved? I don't think I could even trade this thing in the way it shakes right now nor do I want to take a bath on it financially. Has anyone gotten an aftermarket driveshaft? That seems to be a possible culprit although my dealer says mine is fine. New shocks? I'm at a total loss...
  8. 2015 GMC Yukon Denali - 32k miles (6.2L + 8spd). I don't normally do highway speed but noticed yesterday that I had a slight pedal vibration when doing so and it only seems to happen at 60+ mph. My daily drive is under 40mph and no vibrations there. I'm assuming its likely a rear rotor since I don't feel it in the steering wheel. I looked back on my records and it appears front brakes were at 7mm a year ago and rear at 4mm. Both in the "green" according to dealer. I'm not sure if its an eyeball check and they just mark good or if they actually measure but it was 10k miles ago and a year so I likely need new pads. All this to say, with this life and mileage is anyone seeing pad life and possibly rotor life exhausted so quickly? This is a heavy vehicle and the 6.2L gets it up to speed quickly and it does seem to take a lot more to stop it(always this way so I don't think its the vacuum recall). If anyone is getting a 4 wheel brake job at the dealer, what has it run you? Mine is running a special for $139 per axle for pads and $189 per axle for rotors but I'm hoping if it is a warped rotor I only need 1 pair. Also noticed this on the front passenger rotor. Is that defined of a groove normal? To the touch it doesn't feel grooved. Tire inflation is normal.
  9. Just the other day I started to notice a vibration/rattle noise coming from the front passenger side around 70mph. It almost sounds like the windshield, or what you would expect something rattling against glass to sound like. I can’t pinpoint where it’s coming from, but’s somewhere within the vicinity of the passenger side dash/windshield/headliner area. Sounds more like it’s around the headliner area. It it mostly only seems to happen at higher speeds (70+mph) although today I did just today hear it at 60mph for the first time. My guess is maybe the the windshield is leaking some air since it happens at higher speeds??? Because going over bumps doesn’t seem to have any negative or positive impact on the noise. Anyone else have any issue like this, or any guess as to what it might be?
  10. I have a 2012 silverado 1500 crew cab and I am getting vibration when accelerating at highway speeds but it stops when I let off the gas. Any help would be great!
  11. Anyone know what this noise is? It's very intermittent. Seems to do it most often between 40 and 50 MPH cruising with maybe a slight up hill. Never does it on coast or heavy acceleration. Very hard to tell where it's coming from. 20190521_191545_001.mp4 2014 Sierra Denali 1500 Crewcab, 5'8" bed 6.2 Litter 3.42 axle ratio about 118,000 miles
  12. Just replaced e driver side engine mount. After the install, my idle/park started rough idling specially it has more vibration and noise during Reverse. Any idea what could cause this?
  13. Good morning, So I'm finally going to reach out to my fellow Silverado and Sierra owners. I have been dealing with a harmonic vibration issue with my 2014 Silverado crew cab 5.3 2WD for around 5 months. I have taken my truck into 3 different dealers to only have the driveshaft replaced under the powertrain warranty and it fixed about 40% of my vibration issue. The vibration can be felt in the gas pedal, steering wheel, seat, and it can be heard. It sounds a lot like a phasing boom. The dealer that replaced the driveshaft has said they now believe its my "CHEAP hancook tires" but I can duplicate the vibration with the truck supported on jack stands under the axle housing (not changing the pinion angle) with the wheels removed. Now with the wheels removed the vibration is not as bad but its still the same vibration I'm experiencing. One dealer told me I have a bent axle but I don't have any wobble side to side with the wheel on. the driver side wheel does look like it has a highspot with the wheel installed (you can swap wheels with the same results). the tech that replaced the driveshaft said he checked the axles and the checked out okay... Now I have yet to get a good dry warm day to throw a dial indicator on it myself to check but I wanted to check with yall and see what you think. the next nice day I get I plan on pulling the diff cover and taking a look inside. but any help would be much appreciated. I took it in to see about trading back into a Toyota and they didn't want to give me hardly anything for it and the new TRD Tacoma I drove just seemed so cheap for the $36,xxx they wanted for it. My Silverado has a lot more features plus im a fan of the LS engines so I plan on trying to resolve this issue before I try to trade it again. vibration is felt from 20-70+mph the worst is 55-65mph. running boards have been removed, new trans mount, new complete driveshaft. tires have been rotated and the vibration is still coming from the rear center of the truck. Vibrates in V4 & V8, and in neutral. I also have a case opened with GM on this issue since October 2018 so it's well documented. 2014 Silverado LT 5.3L 6l80e 2WD crew cab. (built in the mexico plant) 87,XXX MILES. Please keep the stupid comments to yourself. I just want to get this issue resolved so I can enjoy this truck.
  14. My 2018 Sierra SLT Crew Cab has an annoying buzzing sound, rattle, or vibration when in motion that come from the headliner, overhead console area. When I lightly press up the headliner or plastic molding in this area the noise stops. I only hear it when no radio is on but annoying on a year old truck GMC. It is not the eye glass holder that I can tell. Any ideas? Do you think the warranty should cover silencing this vibration?
  15. I'm new to forum, I have a 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 Standard Cab 2 door ( Not a HD ) My Center support Bearing for my driveshaft is Bad. I have searched continuously for a video that has the support bearing (SB) in the same location and cant find one. My SB is Not hanging like others but it was located above the frame. Is this correct? My truck has ran fine for years until this went and I was wondering if the SB was supposed to be installed below the frame ( appearing to hang). Thanks for everyone's cosideration and help
  16. Ok so I have a 99 sierra 2500 4x4 6.0. Parked it last night no problems. Get in this morning back out and put in drive . As I pushed the gas and started straightening the steering wheel the front driver side made a loud pop sound. After that accelerating I had a vibration for a while. Stop and take off no pop but vibration. I drove for about 45 mins vibration went away. I put in 4wd low no issues 4wd hi no issues. Any clues?
  17. Actual photo of my brand new 2018 Silverado High Country. It's been at the dealer for about 2 weeks now - still has the temporary tag on it. I asked them to look into the vibration in the steering wheel. Haven't seen it since. I think the dealer is doing what they can and trying to fix it. But they don't seem to be getting any support from Chevrolet/GM. Nothing like replacing that new car euphoria with a good swift kick in the balls. #Chevrolemon
  18. anyone else have a problem after lowering there Silverado. After I did a 2x4 drop when I hit 80 mph the driveline starts to vibrate. Anyone find a fix for this.
  19. Well I ordered all the parts this morning to do the rear axle shafts and brake job. Truck has 81,XXX miles on it. Factory pads are about gone. The passenger side axle shaft seal is back to leaking pretty bad. It was R&R'd at 16k and has been sweating ever since and the dealer didn't want to hear it. 9 months later when I bought our new Enclave, I made sure I didn't step foot in that dealer. Anyway, I've also had the driveshaft balanced by a local shop which helped out quite a bit. All but one person who I've found did Yukon shafts said it fixed the vibration. So for $260, worth the old college try. Parts list en route are.... -Yukon Axle Shafts -ACDelco Wheel bearings (both sides) -ACDelco axle shaft seals (both sides) -GM Diff cover gasket (yes I know its reusable but I've already used it once with my PML Cover and put silicone on it. ) -Raybestos Police package rotors. I read that these are mill balanced to a pretty good spec. Tolerances in general are much tighter. -Raybestos hybrid ceramic truck pads While I have it apart I'm going to do a gear pattern check, R&P backlash check at multiple locations around the ring AND check the pinion pre-load measurement. I read that one of these lemon buy back vibrators was donated to a tech school and upon disassembly the pinion pre-load was zero. Yes, zero. So i'm going through the axle my way.
  20. What up fella's. I've been back and forth the past few months with my dealership in regards to the severe vibration I'm having on my 2017 Silverado Z71 Crew cab. The vibration occurs between 74-84 mph. It rides worse than the 2011 I traded for it. I feel it in the steering wheel, the gas petal, seats and center console. My main concern is it vibrates the hell out of my daughter in her car seat, which tears me up inside. There is no way we can take her for long drives in it as it makes her physical irritable and sick. Here's a video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7giDNI70pTk&feature=youtu.be Last time I took it to the dealership, they rode forced the tires and did a "pico reading" and dealership stated "it is operating within the specified range" and there was nothing they could do for me. Funny thing is I actually rode with the Service Manager and Tech while doing this test and both of them said they felt the vibration/shaking but it rides better than other trucks. Such horse shit.. This is one of many issues I've had with it since I bought it; FE: replace full exhaust system due to bad flapper, removed "rail dust" in paint, replace mass airflow sensor within first week of purchase, replaced "gateway module" which took 30+ days in the shop. I purchased the truck last November and am honestly depressed I'm even having this issue to which no dealership can/wants to fix. Ive requested specifically requested to speak with a GM rep last time I was there which the service manager said ''I unfortunately don't know that info". You guys are my last resort, so I'm looking to see how I get in touch with the GM Rep to see what options I have before I get with a lawyer. Any help you guys can provide is greatly appreciated.
  21. I want to apologize in advance for the length of this... I just need to point out the details. It’s time GM does something for us who own 2014-2015 models, trucks I’ve dubbed "the engineering guinea pigs" thanks to personal experience and the myriad of complaints in this forum. Good day to all of you. I’m presenting you an issue that is causing more concern to my safety in my truck than holding a gun to my head. Starting this off by stating I made the grand mistake of taking my truck in to get the steering update instead of checking ground connections myself. Doing this update bit me in the ass within a week of getting my truck back. Let’s just say that after I received my truck from the dealership in far beyond worse condition than I sent it in with, I’m getting consistent and far worse problems after updating. My truck shut off on me completely, losing control of steering and everything, while approaching a red light at about 45 MPH...with my younger brothers in the truck. I took it to the same dealership that same day, and they weren’t able to do anything. I was beyond frustrated. I’ve never had any vibration at any speed until my service. Now I’m getting vibration at 70mph. When I lightly press the brake, I’m hearing a rotational sound coming from my left front wheel, my mechanic says it’s the bearing but with our trucks having sealed bearings, I’m going to be looking at an $800 hub assembly. Just this Saturday, I made a 45 minute drive up to Ft. Lauderdale and as I arrived, I noticed my engine was producing a sound almost like a lifter noise, even though the dealership serviced my lifters(or one specific lifter, not clear at the moment as to what it was). When I got back in my truck after a few hours, I had no lifter noise...WTF? This is getting out of hand. Here's the part that has me worried: ever since my update, my volt meter is below the half mark all the time (never happened beforehand) and I noticed that my headlights flicker and dim, along with my dash lights sometimes. When I press my brake and use my turn signals, the lights dim significantly and brighten back up but flicker. With my turn signal, my headlight dims when I engage it and as it blinks, my headlights dim and brighten with the blinks. Just the other day as I was backing up out of my buddy's house, my backup camera froze and I got a "service rear camera" message on the display. I’m so confused, how does an update manage to mess up my truck? I'm beyond pissed. The only good this update did was actually improve the shifting slightly, even though I’m still having that infamous 1st to 2nd rough shift. Other than that, this update makes me want to tell GM to F-off and move onto ford or something. Yes, I’m that serious. I’ve been a Chevy person all my life, the majority of my family owns Chevy's... this is just getting out of control. I've searched up all these forums about this and haven’t found too much. Already have links saved and screenshots of individual posts about all this, but I need more insight. Did I make the mistake of buying a first-generation truck? I’m not looking forward to pursue legal action, which will end up costing me an arm and a leg, on top of that I probably won’t benefit much from it. Realistically, I’m also not looking forward to switching sides just yet. I want to make sure I’ve exhausted all my efforts before I make a drastic change like that. This was my dream truck... and I was beyond blessed to be able to own it, and I had so much plans for it. Now? It’s looking like a nightmare, and I've got the urge to get rid of it. HELP. ME. PLEASE.
  22. I have a 2016 Silvarado LTZ Z71 4x4 with the 8 speed... About 13,500 miles on it and it's started to develop a "shudder" and it's been shifting harder. On cruise control it will shudder at around 1300 rpm with speed staying constant. I've driven it in manual on new roads at 35 MPH and it also shudders around the same RPM range. We're talking about vibration enough to shake the steering wheel. Almost the same effect as driving over bumps in the road. When driving it very aggressively at higher RPMs the issue isn't as severe. Also when drifting, aka letting the vehicle decelerate, the issue goes away. Has anyone had the same issue with the 2016 8 speed? Any solutions? I'd like to have an idea of what the problem is before going to the dealership tomorrow. I bet $100 they'll tell me it's the tires.... Thanks for input, JK29
  23. Hi everyone. Been along time since I've posted about my 2015 vibrator. Well what a story I have for you! I'll make it short n sweet as possible. First the dealership, couple of hiccups but overall really good to me. Second the Gm customer service, very pleasant to talk to......that's all. Third Gm district manager, treated me very well with buyback. 1/16 New 2015 1500 double ltz 6.2 20" vibrated bad from day one! Approx 6-7 months later after 4 sets of tires, alignments etc.. was offered buyback. Ordered a 2017 1500 crew ltz z71 6.2 18" loaded on first order date. ( z71 and 18" highly suggested for least amount of possible vibration problems by DM ) 12/20/16 new truck FINALLY arrives. Stunning, rides amazing. 5/17 4K miles started to notice a little vibration. Could live with it. 6/17 vibration worse, rear end was making odd noise off and on. Rear end locked up several times at very low speeds and just dragged tires. Will leave out all the bs. Rear end was blown. Btw I don't beat on my trucks. GM POLICY.... new model year rebuild only! If 2016 and older new rear end. RFB tires 2 no good. 2 new tires( found out were out of spec to, put on anyways) Rebuilt rear end, 2 new tires truck vibrated worse, rear end made bad clunking noise and all around seemed worse. Didn't want to go through another buyback and was told GM probably won't do it. Traded for 2017 Colorado v6 crew long bed. Surprisingly really like this little truck. Ok you ready.... 207 miles on it, took it on highway, vibrated worse than my first truck. Also noticed whole truck had a slight lean to drivers side. Took service manager for ride and couldn't believe how bad it was. Also measured truck and driver side was shorter. RFB tires, perfect, checked everything, perfect. No bulletins for it. Never had a Colorado vibrate. Nothing he could do about it. Said you got a lemon. He was gonna contact DM. ( I wrote a email to DM in detail of what My family and I have gone through the past year and a half, how much money we have lost, how much stress we have had and to please just give me a new Colorado ) He got in touch with New DM and explained he couldn't fix it, it's a lemon. Definitely should do a buyback. Well guess what DENIED!! IM FLOORED... unfixable truck is mine. Almost traded for another New Silverado but couldn't do it. Lemon law would take to long and they would get me for mileage( which is not cheap ) and I have to drive it. 8/17 traded for a beautiful black 2017 v6 twin turbo crew cab loaded f150. Couldn't be happier. Really impressed with motor, better tow, better mileage, seats more comfortable, all around better. Unfortunately For GM ( not that it matters to them ) I will never buy a GM product again and I will steer anyone who asks away from them. BTW... I personally know several 15-17 Silverado owners who's trucks vibrate, most common said things from them is... Dont have time to bring it in. Don't wanna go through bs. Take the wife's car for long drives. Brought it in got new tires still vibrates. Gonna trade for Ram/Ford. So the number of REPORTED vibration issues means nothing.. lots of people don't have time, don't wanna deal with bs, traded or just don't care. In the past year and a half I've asked approximately 50 15-17 Silverado owners if theirs vibrated. HALF said yes and all at highway speeds. Personally I think they all vibrate on different levels. On the low end response well it's a truck, that's how it rides. It's expected. And don't forget service guys going with you for test ride saying, that's the tires their aggressive your gonna get that. Unfortunately I've heard it all. My Silverado crew rode like a Cadillac until 4K miles. Take no excuses!!!! Thanks for reading and good luck to all.
  24. Okay so I trying to track down a vibration at 68-75 mph (no I'm serious) the dealer has already did the road force and force match process and it is better, but not right. Currently my truck has Goodyear LS-2's on it. The dealer has a set of the same rims but with Continental crosscontact tires on them. I watch them upgrade a Tahoe to 22's. the Tahoe has the same NHT towing package and the tires are rated the same in all respects. The dealer said If they try those and I like the ride better we can keep them on the truck and basically do a swap. since my truck has very low miles. I did notice that the vehicles on his lot with higher stock numbers (newer ones) have continentals and the older stock numbers have Goodyears ls-2s. So why did GM change their tire supplier for these size rims (275/55/20) Question is which do you like best Goodyear or continental, and why? the Tire rack compare feature slams the goodyears and says good things about the continentals.
  25. Hello all, I have a 2005 Silverado 2500HD Regular Cab W/T. I have been having issues with this truck for quite some time now. Right now I am writing because of a problem with a rough idle that has been getting worse the past week or so. When I come to a stop at a red light or a stop sign the truck can get an extremely rough idle and almost seem as though it is going to bog out / stall. Sometimes I have to throw it in neutral and give it some gas until the light turns green and I can start moving again. Another problem I am having is with starting the truck. Sometimes I turn the key and the truck starts fine. About 50 - 75% of the time when I turn the key it will start to crank but will fail after a second. I can then try again and it will usually start up again no problem. Another problem I am having is with a vibration when traveling at 35 mph and an ongoing vibration starting at about 20 mph - 70mph. The vibration at 35mph is more of a shake / rumble strip vibration almost like there is bubble in the tire. The second vibration is more of a "humming" and I suspect a wheel bearing or cv axle. Some more information: Just last week the message center pulled a message: "Battery Not Charging" and was falling below 14 volts. I just replaced the MAP sensor thinking that would fix the idle but this did not work. Replaced spark plugs about a month ago. Changed out diff fluid Changed out transmission fluid (Full flush & filter) Changed out oil Ran seafoam through engine Ran fuel system cleaner through gas tank So to summarize: 1. Problem with rough idle at stop sign / red light. Very rough idle - almost stalling out - Possible fuel filter, fuel pump, spark plugs? 2. Problem with crank / starting. Will not start on first key turn... takes a second try to get the engine to turn over. - Possible fuel pump, fuel filter, battery, alternator? 3. Vibration at 35mph (Rumble Strip, speed bump vibration / shake) - Wheel Bearing, CV Axle? 4. Humming from ~20mph - 70mph (Very loud around 50 mph when letting off of gas and cruising) - Wheel bearing, CV Axle, Tires? I posted a video of the humming and problem starting at : Thanks for all of your help, Peter
