Not sure if I downgraded or upgraded, I suppose it depends on your perspective. I turned over the plowing duties at my business so no longer had a need for a 3500 Duramax. I finally hit a point where a nice ride was looking more appealing. My wife complained frequently about the ride in the 3500 which was hard to take given the 60k price tag. The Denali with MRC rides very nice and so far glad I made the change. The 6.2 is impressive and will easily tow my 4 place enclosed trailer and boat. I have the power running boards and so far am not a fan. They're neat but the truck doesn't sit high enough to really need them imo and they almost get in the way when getting in and out. I have them turned off for now. The rear mode is nice for drying the back window and rear part of the roof after washing it though. The new lights on the Denali are awesome, big time improvement over my Chevy lamps.

I have a 2000 gmc 1500 with the 5.3. I ordered a egr block-off plate, and exhaust manifold and intake manifold plugs from route 66 mods. I've heard of people deleting the egr value of gasoline engines. I'm not doing long tube headers, its my truck that drive every day and pull a trailer with and I'm gonna get big wheels and put a SS badge on it that just looks stupid. I looked on the other forums about deleting the egr on the 5.3 and all there is a bunch of guys arguing about what to do that haven't even done it them selves. I don't know if I'll have to have it re-tuned or just clear the code? I hope someone on this forum has done it and knows what to do.
