A couple months ago I bought a 2017 Sierra 1500 from Carmax. Worked great when I first got it but one day the infotament system would go dark while I was driving and then come right back on and display the Service Trailer Brake System message. After that happens sometime later when I go to turn the steering wheel the truck will turn off, display all the warning lights and lock the steering wheel in the position I have it while turning. To clear it I have to turn the truck off and back on for it to go back to normal. Has this happened to anyone else or have any idea of what it could be? My buds think it's a wire short somewhere or think the trailer brake is messed up and thinks I am hauling a trailer and making too sharp of a turn.

2017 Silverado z71 Crew Cab Symptoms: Master window switch only operates d/s front window. Window lock button inop mirror adjustment switch inop Master switch does not work on P/s window or either rear windows. I can roll up/down all windows from their own switches no problem. I can also roll them down using my key fob. I have replaced the d/s master switch and the mirror adjustment switch. Still didn’t work. I have replaced the d/s door wiring harness, that still didn’t work. I have tested continuity from the switch connections to the door jam all the wires tested good. I’m at a loss from here. If someone could point me in the right direction or perhaps if someone had a wiring diagram, I would really like my windows to work. I appreciate any help or insight you may have.

Hello, I have a 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 4X4, 110,000 miles, was driving down the road and suddenly stopped moving, truck still on but won't move. Goes into drive and reverse but wont move. No check engine light, transmission fluid full, and clean, no crazy noises. Any clue what it could be? I have been told the linkage, or the transmission pump... Any advice is appreciated.

Truck was shuttering a little, almost felt like it was slipping saturday driving in the city, highway fine. Sunday morning there's a whine from the front of the trans at idle. 5 mins down the road the trans/engine revs are jumping all over the place catching and slipping or shuddering till eventually something let go and it starts to coast with the engine reved up. No movement in any gear, engine revving fine, just no power being transmitted in fwd rev or low. Gets towed to the dealer sunday and monday they say its moving fine at least in the lot, they haven't looked into it further yet. Any ideas on what would cause this? It wouldn't even try to move and the next day its moving fine. Also any TSBs with the torque converter or 6 speed trans that might be related? If it is the torque converter do they rebuild the trans as well or just try to flush the debris out? Fortunately its still under warranty (just) but, I like to be informed. Also don't want the trans to go 20k down the road when its out of warranty because it was contaminated. Truck has 145K KMs on it.

2017 GMC Sierra 1500 6.2L Transmission Hard Shifts/Clunks

I have a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali 6.2L with the 8 speed transmission (73,000 miles). When shifting from park to drive/reverse there is a clunk and also when the truck is accelerating from low RPMs there’s a hard shift from 1-2 & 2-3 gear. I’ve taken it to the dealer multiple times and they “can’t find an issue” with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! IMG_6286.MOV- 1 reply

So I have a 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 with the 5.3 at 35k miles and I got a flashing CEL for about 30 seconds a few weeks ago on the highway and took it it to auto parts store but it had no codes present. About a week and a half ago the CEL came on constant and it came up with the P50D Rough Idle and so I got oil changed and ran some fuel system cleaner through and after a couple days the light started flashing and ran rough for a few min, I parked it and started it 10 min later and it was a solid CEL again but I was able to pull a P300 General misfire code. Today it did the same thing but ran worse than ever and I thought it was going to die on me, shut it down for 10 min and it ran ok. Before I start throwing money at this where should I start, spark plugs, coil packs, injectors? I'm at a loss with only 35k and just passed the 3yr warranty. Thanks for any advice.
