First off, sorry if there is a thread on this, I searched with no luck. I have recently purchased a 2020 gmc elevation crew cab and installed belltech drop spindles with rear drop shackles (2/2) but would like to drop 4" in the rear. I cant seem to find a 4" kit yet. Has anyone come up with a solution or know of a company who builds one? I have contacted Belltech direct and they have no plans on making a 4". Not sure that I want to c notch a truck with 1100km on it for the 6" Maybe its just not possible on this body style? P.s. This is my first gm product and first time lowering a pickup truck.

So I'm just now getting around to posting about it but finally got the McGaughy's 4/6 deluxe drop installed on my 2018 double cab. Also got my Status Journey 22's wrapped in 285/40/22 rubber and put on as well. I think I'm gonna call this truck Vaderado The kit is very well made and went together pretty easily, I did initially drop the front end 5'' just to see how it looked but couldn't even get my hand in between the bottom of the fender well and the tire, so I adjusted the strut with the spacer rings provided up an inch and shes sitting quite nicely. If anyone has any questions about the kit feel free to ask!! oh and before anyone points it out, yes the rear exhaust tip is lower and not perfect, we ended up bending it down and busting the hanger slightly in the process of doing the rear as it didn't quite clear the leaf pack

So I'm planning on lowering my 07 Classic with a 2-4 kit. I know very little on the subject but plan on doing the work myself. First question: For the rear end, Belltech recommends installing a c-section kit. How drastic are the consequences of not installing one? Will my ride suffer on normal roads and fwys? If not, how much can a haul? I don't ever plan on hauling ever 300lbs. Second: I want a kit that works properly and wont cause any unwanted wear on my tires, joints etc. Some of the kits on the Belltech site come with different combinations of pieces. What the hell are the two black pieces on the bottom right corner? And what is the difference between using a spindle kit and a spring kit? I was under the impression that both spring and spindle need to be replaced in order to get a proper drop. Also, for the shocks... is it possible to simply purchase a set for a vehicle with a lower, stock stance? If so... what vehicle should i purchase shocks for? Or are the specifically made for certain vehicles with certain drops and I'll have to purchase them from Belltech?

I have a beautiful 2014 Sierra SLE regular cab, its in Sonama Red Metallic. It has the 20" wheels. The Truck is really tall from the rear, more then ive seen any stock truck. I was going to lower the truck anyways, but its just a matter of which kit. I dont want too low, im looking at the McGaughtys 2/4 drop, and im getting the GM 22" Black 5-spoke wheels on as well. Has anyone installed that kit, are their any problems with that kit? Pictures would help.
