  1. I just noticed this while cleaning the dash. It looks like some LED strip of some sort in there. Went through settings and didn’t notice anything about a light for forward collision or anything. Definitely too small to be HUD.
  2. I have been losing the Navigation and SiriusXM info on the dash display and the HUD display. (infotainment screen works ok) After shutting off the truck and restarting later it will come back. Anyone else? 2020 silverado 3500 HD high country delux. 3000 miles. I also have the searching for satellite problem on a startup. The "stop app" workaround will get the siriusXM going but not the nav display on the dash. Not sure if they are related. Frustrating for a new expensive truck.
  3. UPDATED PRICES I totaled my truck last week hitting a deer. So I'd like to sell a few of my upgrades. My next truck will have the options I want. Note: I am in Canada but will ship internationally and will accept paypal (via "someone you trust" option) I am open to reasonable offers and package deals. Item 1 – Heads up display package. Sold Item 2 – LTZ/High Country taillight package -$550 Shipped This package includes LED taillights with factory harnesses. I also have the Pgamboa taillight adaptor harnessed to eliminate the hyperflash. I was unable to retrieve the resistors for these harnesses but you could source them elsewhere or contact Harness Dr. to see if he could sell you a replacement set. I would like $550USD shipped Item 3 – Power fold mirror switch - SOLD Item 4 – Heated steering wheel - $100 USD shipped This is a Sierra wheel with the heat and collision avoidance buttons. The collision avoidance button will not function but does not affect the operation. There is a slight blemish on the to of the steering wheel that was there when I bought it from salvage. I would like $100USD shipped
  4. I have a 2019 GMC Denali Ultimate. I believe I have the most up to date software in 803. I was at my Chevy dealership with a friend and he was driving a High Country and I noticed the Heads up Display showed audio information and other information when changing channels, etc. My Denali does not do that and I wondered if anyone else knew or saw that the same? Not to say this bad, but would the Silverado have additional features the Sierra would not? I can't believe the Denali would not have "all" the possible features considering one is paying more for it, but from what I have seen, this information is not shown on the GMC's. I have brought this item up previous as those features are shown on GMC's website when advertising features of the Sierra and mentioned it to my dealer but they say there is no way they can find out from General Motors. Can anyone confirm if their Sierra/Silverado shows audio information on their Heads Up Display? Thank you in advance.
  5. Page 171 of the 2019 Tahoe/Suburban Owner’s Manual shows Performance View. It states that the HUD will show speed, rpm, transmission positions and gear shift indicator. If appears to show the gear selected by the transmission while in D mode. Mine does not. Anyone else have this condition?

  8. I much prefer the Sierra over the Silverado, but it looks like I may be forced into the Chevrolet because of option issues. I want a 2019 with the 3.42 rear end and the 6.2 engine with at least the SLT trim and HUD display. However, it turns out you absolutely cannot get the HUD in a SLT. It requires Denali or AT-4. That would be ok with me, but you can’t get the 3.42 rear end in the Denali or AT-4. So I’m screwed there. In the Chevrolet Silverado you can get all the above in a fully dressed LTZ. Why does GMC make it so hard to option a truck? There appear to be cool new colors in the GMC that aren’t on the Chevy. I wish someone at GM could explain the logic.
  9. 1) The instrument cluster between the tach and speedo resets along with the HUD. This happens quite often, I have owned the truck for a month now and it has done it about 50 times. I did find a service bulletin: #18-NA-324. 2) The movable air control door hidden inside the dash seems like it 'sticks' and won't position itself properly for what is asked from either the touchscreen or manual controls. For instance, when I remote start the defroster is automatically set. That works fine; but in order to get ANY flow to the floor one must first select the combo defrost/middle area to 'unstick' the door. You can literally hear the door unstick and move. You can then select to the floor for air flow and it will work. 3) On a smaller note, the right rear door does close properly; it seems like it rubs on something during the closure process; I'm sure that is just a simple adjustment that I will get done at the dealer during my first service.
  10. Not sure where to put this, but thought it was a valid topic for anyone having a windshield replaced and has ADAS on their vehicle (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems); HUD, Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, etc. While searching for more info, as well as justification to spend the extra $$ for the infamous Windshield Calibration that many reference, I found these videos that offer a good incite. What is ADAS? Tech Talk: ADAS (2016) Video showing the tools needed for the various ADAS Calibrations Example video of calibration for Lane Keep Assist (2018 accord) ADAS Camera Calibration - Toyota
