TIA for your help and time… BLUF: Ticking noise under truck, not heard from top of engine compartment. I noticed a ticking/clicking/pinging noise under my truck today, took a video, hopefully you can hear it. Anyone else? Truck was in Park and Neutral (Parking brake engaged) and still heard the sounds.

2019 GMC Canyon all terrain bought in July 2019 with 12000km on it has clicking noise in drivers side between doors around seat belt adjuster (B- pillar area). Had the truck to two separate dealerships 7 times altogether with no success after the dealer trying different things including: 1.Replaced rear side door arm rest cover trim 2.Center pillar upper trim panel replaced 3.Replaced clips in door 4.Replaced power door lock actuator (which was very loose according to them) 5.Replaced all door weather striping. Not something you would expect from a new truck. Any ideas what this could be?

I have roughly 56k miles on my truck...don't use 4wd very often, but occasionally... I have noticed i have a clicking sound when turning at slow speeds...I haven't been able to climb underneath my truck yet (not even sure I would be able to tell unless something was blatantly obvious). I did a search and found some threads about steering column causing a click...it isn't my steering wheel... if it is a CV issues, are these under the power train warranty or am I SOL? Any advise appreciated!

When I turn my steering wheel on my 2014 Silverado 1500 it makes a clicking noise. I can feel it in my steering wheel so I know it’s not coming from anywhere else except either something on the steering column or steering wheel.

Hello all, I just traded my ultra reliable commuter car (2014 Corolla S) in for a 2014 Silverado LT Crew Cab 4x4 with the 5.3l. I've had a number of chevy trucks over the years, and never experienced any problems. Since I have recently cut down on my commute to work, I decided to make a 2014 silverado/sierra my daily driver. I bought this truck over the weekend. I wasn't thrilled about the wheels / tires (305/45r22's on 22' wheels), and I planned to replace in the next few weeks. However, I was happy with what appears to be a 2-2.5" level kit already installed. During the test drives, I didn't notice any of the "Chevy Shake" or any clicking with the steering wheel. However, during the last 3-4 days, the steering wheel has begun to noticeably 'click' when I turn at a stop or low speeds. Clicking is worse when turning left than right. I have done quite a bit of research over the last few hours, and it appears I am not the only one with this issue. The problem is, I bought the car used with 61,000 miles on it. I got (what I thought) was a great deal on it, but now I am second guessing my purchase. Based on my research, I need to identify the lift kit before I do anything else. Please help!!! I am also open to other advice if someone has discovered a cure that I may have missed. I will post pics below. I will also post a video as soon as I figure out how to do so on this site.

Hey guys, I've had this noise occurring for over a year now, I cannot nail it down. Anytime torque is applied to the drivetrain there is a cracking/sizzling sound for a few seconds coming from the transmission/transfer case/torque converter (not exactly sure yet). The sound is most noticeable when shifting between drive and reverse or after releasing brakes and accelerating from a stop light. I do not believe it is the the flexplate, I also removed driveshaft to check u-joints and they seemed good. It could be engine or tranny mounts but not sure. Anyone with Ideas is welcome to comment! Thanks. here is the video. the sound occurs at 9, 24, 33, and 41 seconds. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8nwWtPD9JL6QTlrOGNxdVVUWnM/view?usp=sharing
