Hi, We are developing a new software program that focuses on removing DTCs from vehicles. Our support list is very broad and includes trucks as well. I would like to know if you would be interested in such a program? Or you may know people who need it. Let me know. Best regards.

2000 Suburban 5.3L. I'm having problems with the injector circuit for cylinder 3 in my car. I removed the connector on the injector and verified that it's getting power (constant 12V when key in ON position and 14V when engine is running). When a test light was put on the ground terminal it illuminated but didn't pulse. When I looked at the voltage though, it was bouncing all over between 0 and 14V. I turned the car off and noticed the ground terminal had 1.7 kOhms resistance to ground when the engine is off. Thought that was funny as it shouldn't be connected to ground when the car is off and if there was a short, the resistance should be 0. I traced the wiring and didn't see anything wrong. I then found a diagram for the ECM connectors, located the terminal for the cylinder 3 injector (ironically terminal #3) and found the same 1.7 kOhm resistance to ground at this terminal. This was the terminal on the actual ECM not the wiring harness. 1. Is this sufficient evidence that the ECM is bad? 2. Can I just go to a junkyard and pull an ECM out of another 2000 Suburban with the 5.3L and put it into my car with no problems? 3. If not, does anybody have experience with flashmastersecm.com? Judging from ebay, they look reputable.

Howdy, totally new here with a problem. We have a 2007 Tahoe LTZ that developed an issue about a month ago. My wife is for the most part the only driver and weve had it since new. Since she retired she drives it about 1000 miles per year, mostly full of grandkids. About a month ago it started flashing "traction control off, service stabilitrak. It turned on a cel : p0101 lost communication with tcm. Shortly after the rear hatch wouldn't open, the shift indicator quit working, and it picked up a p0073 code. The next day it wouldnt start, showing a security icon. I disconnected the battery and reconnected it after 1/2 hour, it restarted, the security icon was off, I backed it into the shop, shut it down, restarted it with my scanner hooked up checked fuses, wiring for damage etc. It was on reduced power with the same codes, battery @ 12.6v shut off 13.8v @ idle the it died, the security icon was back. I disconnected the battery again, this time overnight, now it still has the security icon, wont crank or start and it wont communicate with my scanner. Im leaning toward the ecu as we had a similar issue with our Ford Powestroke a few years ago. I dont want to throw parts at this but Im kind of up against a wall at this point. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I have a 53 m38a1 with a Kubota turbo diesel SM465 and less electronics than her stereo. My suggestion was to build something like that. Shes not interested. Thanks again!
