  1. Can anyone tell me where the vertical adjustment screws for the low beam projector on a 2016 suburban with stock halogens are? I recently retrofit the low beam bulbs (which are ridiculously dim) with Morimoto HIDs and need to lower the beams a bit. The Left/Right adjustment is on the back of the assembly, clearly marked and easy to find, but I have not been able to find any adjustment on the headlamp assembly for vertical adjustment, even after removing the plastic air dam that covers the top of the headlamp assemblies. Any suggestions/information much appreciated, Justin
  2. Price update 10/24/19 Replacement Projector LED Headlight in Black Housing Clear Lens. Includes Hikari LED low beam upgrade wired and ready. Plug and play. This is a $500 setup that is ready to go. I got rid of the truck so no need for these anymore. Asking $150+shipping. -Direct Bolt On Replacement For Your Original Headlights, No Wiring or Any Other Modification Needed. - DOT & SAE Approved. This is plug and play with: 2015-2019 Chevy Suburban 2015-2019 Chevy Tahoe Compatible on Models w/ Factory Halogen Headlights Only. One headlight has a light scratch but if you took to a professional detailer they could likely sand it a little and buff it away to look new. The one picture shows it on what would be the passenger side just to the right of the ELLED band. No impact on lighting and with some professional polishing would probably just disappear.
  3. Greetings, First time poster here....I've used many a fishing and hunting forums but never a truck forum....so please forgive my automotive ignorance Had some trouble with my passenger side headlight last week (drivers side was fine).....it was on again/off again... hoped it was the bulb, replaced it...no luck. Headlight is still out. Checked fuse #58 (3-pin) HDLP RT/ LT (full disclosure: NEVER saw a 3 pin blade fuse before) it was fine, however, it doesn't protect the headlamps it protects the high beams......which leads me to my next important bit of info... I'm the third owner.......the original owner tricked out this truck with custom front lights, rear lights, LED bars, etc, etc..... ton of stuff, truck looks great, but I had nothing to do with it. If it was my boat I'd be all over it. So I'm hoping one of you guys or gals can help me out. Got a hold of the original owner.......he bought the headlamps (see pic) from DT Moto on eBay...they're halogen lamps ...that's all he remembers . On the way to work today the other headlight went out YIKES! ....up here in NH it's pretty damn dark at 5:30 am ....there are a total of 5 bulbs in each front light and the headlights are the only one out. So I'm hoping someone here might get me going in the right direction? Relay? where might I find that? Should fuse #58 (engine compartment) HDLP RT/ LT protect the high beams? Seems like it should be for the head lamps? I love the truck, it's my 2nd Sierra 1500, my first one was very good to me. I get a lot of compliments and questions.....most of which I have to reply to with , "Ummm, I don't know." lol ANY questions or comments please feel free..... Thanks, Jim
  4. I wanted to get the pulse of how many people have successfully had their Denali/LED headlamps painted? I am very interested in doing mine but have 2 major concerns due to the cost of these OEM lights: - Is it REALLY possible to get these re-sealed adequately to the point I should have little to no concern of condensation ever occurring after spending some serious money to have these painted? - Speaking of serious money, what is a reasonable amount to expect to pay? I know you can infinitely increase the cost of these projects by adding different LED switchbacks, different projectors, doing intricate paintings vs. just satin black everything, etc. What I'm wanting falls somewhere in the middle. I want to upgrade the LED switchback module (bc why not if I'm already in $$$ to crack them open?) which runs around $150 I believe, and I want a simple Satin black + (maybe) a portion color-matched as well (still on the fence) as well as the GMC stamped in the chrome of the headlamps to be the red color of the emblems. Does anyone have any input/feedback/advice/recommendations on this? If I have it done, I'd potentially be willing to send them off to someone to have them done, but shipping is a major added cost. Is there anyone in on of the following locations (that is highly recommended as well as reasonable??): Houston, TX - Where I live Austin, TX San Antonio, TX Dallas, TX Ft. Worth, TX Baton Rouge, LA Oklahoma City, OK Any and all comments are highly appreciated!
