I was interested about GMC bringing back the Jimmy around 2022 to compete with the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler. What do you guys think? Is it possible to compete in the market so heavily dominated by Jeep? Which of these renderings do you like the best?

Ok I have a 2000 gmc jimmy sle and my 4wd doesn’t work there is no light and also no sound when I click the button but it’s my dads old truck and now mine and he said the old owner melted the wiring harness but I have no idea where it is too fix it could someone help me please (I would only like to fix the 4wd wiring it’s the only thing I care about) -
Anyone help with battery tie down used in 1989 S15? I can't figure out what factory method was used to secure battery in place. thanks -
Hi guys, So, I recently had to replace the heater's blower motor in my 99 GMC Jimmy. In order to remove the blower motor, I had to take out the Battery, ECM, and Coolant Reservoir. After finishing up and reconnecting everything, I tried to start the truck to check if the blower motor worked (it does, but only has one speed now). When I tried to start the truck, I got one tick (as if the battery wasn't connected well), but then all the lights turned off and I couldn't turn the key back or remove it. I'm unsure of how to proceed here.

I have a 2000 gmc jimmy 4wd 6cyl and I've resorted to starting it and unhooking battery because of short cause my brights to not work and giving me a dead battery after shutting it off. It was second hand and haven't got much other then that for problems. Could my multifunction switch for my lights be shorting out?

2000 GMC Jimmy 4.3 Vortec 4WD ~215,xxx Engine starts, runs/revs in park but will stumble and miss off idle in drive. It wont stumble all the time though, sometimes it will run perfectly fine. Occasionally while driving in overdrive the engine will lose power, throttle does nothing, and drop to idle and begin stumbling and backfiring. After this happens if you let it sit for a few minutes it will start and run fine. Also this loss of power only occurs in overdrive, if I drive around in 3rd it runs fine. Fuel pump was replaced ~3 years ago Fuel filter ~3 months ago IM gaskets ~5 months ago (due to a coolant leak) Radiator ~8 months ago (cracked) Had codes pulled p0101, p0151, p0717, p0174 Anything you guys have would be great! Thanks! -

I am replacing my belt tensioner. I can not find a place where it is bolted in. I thought that it was right in the middle of the actual tensioner but it's not. It look like there is some very large screw? Which nothing else I read or watched mentioned -
ok so my buddy has a gmc jimmy and he bought it a few months ago. he does not like the truck because of the way it rides..... the guy who owned it before him had clearly done a few changes to the vehicle and was wondering if anyone would know a way to help fix his problem. the jimmy is lifted 5" up and the front torsion bars were swapped out for the 1/2 ton suspension., the socks are not gas shocks that push back when push but are more like dampeners.. they just slow the rate of the swaying. the only big problem my friend says that makes him dislike the vehicle is that the suspension rides to soft and he would actually want it to be more stiff. the rear end is not really much of a problem but the springs no longer go under the rear axle but above it now and the torsions if cranked or lowered make too much of a difference.... is there any way to fix the soft suspension?, because this is his daily driver. jimmy with 5"lift, 31" tires and 1/2 ton torsion bars.
