  1. For those of you looking to setup your own MultiPro tailgate speaker system, well HERE YOU GO! Wiring harnesses and amplifier brackets to make your project super easy!! No splicing or hacking away at your expensive factory wiring! I have a limited number of the items in stock, 10 or so of each, with more that will be ready next week! When I did mine, I used the Soundstream ST4.1000DB bluetooth amp (and I am very pleased with it so far), so all of the options are available as plug and play with that particular amp. Or you can just get a harness with a pigtail that will give you 12v+ power and ground in your inner tailgate, so you can wire it up to whatever you want. Don’t forget to check out the options for adding lights and the speaker wiring harness to make the whole system truly PLUG & PLAY. so much better sound than the Kicker system for a lot less money! All items come with complete installation instructions (with pictures, ha)! Let me know if you have any questions! www.multiprorocks.com
  2. This is a simple install and takes 10 minutes (I did not find a write-up so hopefully this answers any questions others have). The hardest part is getting your gorilla mits in to access the trailer connector (add 10 minutes of frustration) Lights used: (~$32) These were selected since the ad said the lights could be removed from the insert panel – better than paying $150 to GM for 2 LEDs and wiring https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09J11MV4M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Tools Needed: Torx T20, T30 1. Remove the 6 T-30 and 4 T-20 Torx screws holding the kicker panel on the tailgate and move onto the tailgate 2. Locate the trailer lighting module in the second opening on the passenger side (red circle) 3. I found it offered more room if you unscrew the tilt connector board (yellow circle) 4. Unlock the connector by pulling the red tab up, remove the connector plug 5. Take the supplied harness and locate the end with the two connectors together 6. Connect one to the lighting module and the other to the connector you just removed, lock the connectors, reattach the tilt board 7. Temporarily connect the lights to the other ends of the harness to test the circuit 8. Assuming it is working, pull the rubber plugs out above the controls and USB area on the kicker panel 9. These lights are directional so before you remove them from the panels confirm how the manufacturer had them installed in their insert panel 10. Insert the lights in place of the plugs, route the pigtails from the harness and connect to the lights, Test again 11. Zip tie cables if you want (I did not), replace the kicker panel

  6. Hey all, we're a local Chevy dealer with a strong ecommerce presence. We have the lowest prices on the Kicker subwoofer package for the 2014+ Silverado & Sierra Crew & Double/Extended Cab sizes. Installation does not require dealer install. it is a plug and play package. We have guaranteed low prices that shouldn't be beat! GM offers a few versions of these units: -Double Cab and Crew Cab models have different parts numbers -GM offers just a sub upgrade, or the sub upgrade plus amplifier on the door speakers. *The standard Sub upgrade works with the Bose system. *The kit including Sub plus Amp on the door speakers will NOT work with Bose systems. For a price, please send us a message with your body style truck, and which kit you would be interested in plus your Zip Code for shipping. Everything is in stock ready to ship. Forum members will find that our prices on all GM accessories will be hard to beat. Please message me with any questions on this or any other accessory you may need for your truck. *** Currently running a little bit of a deeper discount on the crew cab models, with just the sub upgrade. Buy cheap, sell cheap is the name of the game ***
  7. Replacing Bose factory 6.5" subwoofer in the center consol with a JL audio 6w3v3. I have seen many people talk about doing this but have never actually seen anyone follow through. I also replaced my rear door speakers. Factory size is 4x6 and I put in 6x8. Made tempelate of speaker size and traced onto the truck door with sharpie. Then used tin snips to cut out the hole. It was super easy and there is nothing back there to get in the way. Then made a mounting ring out of MDF and a jig saw. Painted it black and put a foam sealer on it which pulled tight when I mounted the speaker. I did notice a better sound quality when I added the 6x8 over the 4x6. I swapped because I lost sound out of my back right speaker and thought why not throw a bigger speaker in there. I will be installing the JL 6w3v3 with the JL jx250 amp this week and I will post pictures and let anyone know how it turned out. Obviously it's not a 10 or 12 under the rear seat but I think it will add a much better sound overall. Not looking to wake the neighborhood. I have read many places it's is "sooo complicated" to get to the Bose sub in the center consol why bother with it. Not true at all. It took 25-30 min to get the entire console out and pull the sub.
