22 1500 Custom The jump seat top console storage won't open. It was working fine after raising and lowering the seat for the first couple days and now it wont unlatch as if it is in the up position. Anyone had the same issue or know of a fix? -
Is there any preventative maintenance that can be done with the tailgate latch? Mine ‘18 seems to be getting a little tough to open and although it’s under warranty I thought if I could lube, grease, silicone, spit on, or whatever it takes to loosen it up it’d be nice. Thank you for your consideration and as a side note I will not be having a garage sale this weekend.

So this has been annoying me for 3 years now. I bought my 2007 used from an area dealer. I had some service done to it and when it back i noticed a few things. Not only did their tech decide to help himself to my spare change stash but it appeared he went ahead and searched through everything. Well in his search he broke the latch to the lid of the jumpseat......not the top console lid but the actual seat itself that opens up to the under seat storage. Anyway, I have literally searched everywhere I cannot find the latch itself without replacing the entire lid which i do not want to do. Sidenote: the dealer wouldn't stand behind their work and replace the latch which rubbed me the wrong way and I won't be doing business there anymore. Luckily there are at least 5 other GM dealers within 50 miles so thats not a problem. Anyone know where to find just the latch by itself?

07 Silverado classic so more or less an 06. Door latch is broke, doesn't lock closed. My question is are the actuators for power and remote locks transferrable to the new latch? The reason I ask is while searching I'm finding the actuators for sale separately. I'm just thinking I might save a few bucks buying a latch without the actuators if I can reuse the ones I have.

So this is my first post to a GM forum and any help would be greatly appreciated. I normally can find all the answers I need, but this is getting frustrating. My lower latch broke, on the center floor console that locks with the ignition key. I've looked everywhere and nothing. Not even a replacement lid. I found console vaults, but not ready to drop $250+ on it. Am I missing something here? Is there another name for that piece? My truck is a 2007 new body Silverado LT Extended Cab with split bench seats.
