Does anyone else have the same cowl end caps? Look closely at the photos to see the unique design with bend in them. Trying to determine if their part of the Midnight Edition package. Seen other Trail Boss's that had the standard end caps most all other 2019-2020 Silverado and Sierra's have. Not even sure what GM model these might also be on.

I understand this topic has been around for some time, but I recently purchased a 2019 Silverado LD (same body style as the 2014-2018 models). When I look for aftermarket mods/information, I have been referencing the 2018 model year. In particular, my Silverado is a 2019 LD LT Z71, Double Cab, Midnight Edition w/ the All Star package (a lot to digest there!). The mods I have done in no particular order of completion are: 2" Zone Leveling Kit Rough Country rubber bed mat Driver & passenger window tint (35%) Upgraded to LED bulbs in cargo, reverse and license plate lights Replaced stock antenna w/ 3" stubby Added 4 Bully hooks to bed sidewalls Tinted license plate covers (not too dark as you WILL be pulled over) GM tri-fold tonneau cover (manufactured by Advantage Truck Accessories for GM (GM Part #19367127). Appears to be very similar to the Extang Trifecta 2.0. BackRack #15024 w/ tonneau kit part #50120 (fits perfectly w/ that tonneau cover, but you won't find it listed on BackRack's site) Rear seat GM floor liner Front seat GM all weather floor mats Amooca no-drill mud flaps N-Fab cab length side step bars textured black Apeman mini dash cam Range Technology AFM disabler K&N 33-2129 Performance Air Filter (AIRAID Modular Intake Tube to follow...) and the best for last, stainless steel, Magnaflow MF Series Black cat-back - dual split rear exit exhaust, 4" black coated tips (these pipes were made for the 5.3 - such a perfect growl!!) Future mods would include 33" Nitto Ridge Grapplers or DuraTracs & a little more lift.

Yes, from the same dealership as my 2015. Taken on 16 September:

There also is a Midnight edition for the all balck Silverados... I am just curious as to what my package is called because where I am located I havent seen a truck like mine since I have owned it the past 6 months or so. Thank you in advance!

So here in Austin we have an influx of semi trucks and other terrible drivers that haul gravel without it being covered properly. Unfortunately my trucks front end hasn't seen it's best days because of this. And I'm sure it doesn't help that our paint chips easier than ever. I've been looking into options of what I'd want to get done. Looking for advice/tips on what route to take. Kevlar Coating I've gotten this priced out at Starwood Customs & LRM Kevlar out of Dallas/Fort Worth. Can choose basically ANY color or mix/custom, would be able to wash with a pressure washer easily. Just isn't glossy, but is very protective. Top of the line companies for these Kevlar coatings, they will be doing our Jeep in the future as they typically do higher end vehicles/Jeeps. But for a test round, I would like to possibly get my Silverado done. For a Crew Cab I'm looking at $ 5K+ I know I saw someone on here do a full Line-X and it cost more than this. Only thing that worries me about doing the Kevlar is how the resale value would be at 80-100k miles. Hoping this would add some value to the vehicle, especially for people in Texas who drive the back roads often. http://www.starwoodcustoms.com/kevlar-offer/ https://www.lrmkevlar.com/ Vinyl Wrap I've got a local place in Austin that could do the wrap for me in any color/metallic I wanted. It would cost around $3500-4k. So just barely cheaper than the Kevlar. Good thing about this is I could take the wrap off at any point, but then it would expose the wonderful rock chips. You can get some pretty nice metallic colors in vinyl wrap though. Matte or Satin is also a good choice. Sand & Paint Last option would be to sand down the truck and re-paint and clear coat the whole thing. If I went this route, I would be adding a clear bra on the whole front end. This route seems the most expensive, since a paint job would be $3k+ and adding clear bra install on top of this. I would not be changing colors if I was going to do this. Does anyone have any experience with either of these options? Please weigh in with your opinions and info about the route you took. I'm not in any hurry to do this. I've owned this truck for 1 year - 35K miles later I'm still very happy with the appearance and drivability. Turns heads everyday and I still clay bar/seal/wax even though the rock chips are getting the best of her.

Well, after exploring several options to remedy those sub par headlights found on the 2014-15 Sierras I decided to explore trading it in. While I was very frustrated with the Sierra's headlights I was not willing to get screwed over on trade in value and have my payments sky rocket. After shopping around for about a month I was able to get 20% off MSRP on a 2016 Silverado LTZ Midnight Edition which was less than what I had paid for my 2015 Sierra SLE All Terrain .....they also gave me above Blue Book value for my Sierra and combined with $1600 dollars in GM Card bonus cash my payments only increased by $20/month.

John Goreham Contributing Writer, GM-Trucks.com 7-13-2016 After last night's baseball all-star extravaganza, the 2016 Ted Williams All-Star Game Most Valuable Player, Eric Hosmer, was given a choice; A 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro SS or Colorado Diesel Midnight Edition. What would you have picked? Hosmer took home the Midnight Edition Colorado Diesel. “Hosmer’s spectacular on-field performance tonight demonstrates to all baseball fans and especially our kids that hard work, determination and teamwork is what wins, and that is why Chevrolet is proud to present the MVP award,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Chevrolet. This writer would have found it very hard to pass up a special edition Camaro SS in the middle of summer. What say you?

Hello! Just picked up this 'beaut yesterday. 2015 Chevy Silverado Midnight Edition fully loaded (literally just about every option available) powered by the 6.2! It was tough to locate but after a few patient weeks I got my dream truck. I already have a list of add-ons for her

2016 Chevy Colorado Midnight Edition First up is the bad to the bone Colorado Midnight Edition. The blacked-out including the bow tie Midnight edition offers an urban tuner theme. The Midnight Edition Colorado will be built on the LT trim platform, and yes, it will be available with the torque new 2.8 Duramax Diesel. Everything on this truck is black. The 18 inch wheels, spray-on bedliner and the tonneau cover. Black Black Black. 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71 Trail Boss The Colorado Z71 is already a tough off-road capable truck. For 2016 Chevy's Z71 Trail Boss edition adds Goodyear Wrangler DuraTec 265/65R17 all-terrain tires, bold fender flares and tubular assist steps. There is also an LED light bar, spray-on bedliner, and all-weather floor mats. The Colorado Z71 Trail Boss will be available on Z71 models with extended and crew cab bodies. Interestingly 2WD will also be available in addition to the obvious 4WD drivetrains. Yes, you can get the 2.8 Duramax. Oh, and Chevy loved the blacked out bowtie so much on the Midnight the Trail Boss gets those too. Chevy says that both the 2016 Colorado Midnight Edition and Z71 Trail Boss will be available this fall. Which would you prefer?

I was watching videos on my usb stick. From what i understand your only able to use 480p resolution videos, and they have terrible quality (very pixelated even on such a small screen). Is there anyway to improve the video resolution capabilities on the mylink screens, or watch higher resolution videos? This was in my 2015 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ Midnight Edition.
