  1. When I bought my 2018 Silverado I absolutely fell in love with the Black Widow version. I also didn't love the hefty price tag that comes with. All the modifications I intend to do are to the outside. Specifically the 6 inch true lift, 20 inch Black widow rims, 35 inch all terrain tires, and the fender flares. Aside from the tires ( I can get those anywhere), and out of everything I am looking for it looks like you can only buy the rims from their website. It says reach out to them and they will put you in touch with a dealer that carries their stuff. Dealership prices are crazy. Looking over their website and videos it seems like a very mom and pop type business, which there is nothing wrong with that, but I am surprised they were able to cut deals with major truck brands. I get the impression SCA is not all that big? Anyways, has anyone had any experience with doing the Black Widow like upgrades to their truck? Any cost cutting measures you would do if you had to do it all over again?
  2. Hey everyone, couldn't find a thread for WTB/WTS but I am looking to replace my center console tray out of my 2011 Sierra All Terrain. It came with the brushed aluminum one that have the cover flaps thats open/close. Part #23164630. If anyone has one in good condition for sale let me know. Im based in Ontario but can send a shipping label and use paypal for payment. Attached a picture so theres no confusion! Thanks so much.
  3. Im trying to order a new bumper for a newer body style 2019 Silverado. However, I’m coming up with some problems when I do a part search. The part I need is a new front bumper. The first part number is 84219085 (link) . The description on this part in the link is, “Bumper & mounting, without park assist, 1st design, chrome.” however, there is another part that is 84588809 (link) The exact same descriptor and picture. Except this part is listed as “second design“. what in the world is the difference between “first design“ versus “second design”? Both of these bumpers are obviously for the new generation and not the Legacy truck, as those are listed on a separate part of the bumper pages and they look completely different than these. I am at a loss here on which one to order. First design versus second design. What’s the difference?
  4. Guys I need your help. So my seats are power seats, and the driver's seat doesn't slide foward or back.i had found out what the problem is. There are these springs that connect to the motor and rod.that spring rotates the rod.and mine are messed up. And I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with the part name or something similar to it.im sorry if this isn't making sense,or y'all don't know what I'm talking about.but if theres a way y'all can help me out that would be great.
  5. Hey everybody, Has anybody come across a good reliable website for OEM genuine GM parts? I have seen many different websites online claiming to sell GM parts direct from General Motors. However, I have looked further into these websites & have found many bad reviews relating to them. Along with people who have had their money stolen by these websites. I figured somebody out there must know a rock solid website to order OEM GM parts from. Any suggestions would be a big help for many people! --- My specific reason for this question is because of a off-roading accident with my 16 Silverado 2500HD WT. My air deflector & front bumper were damaged & require replacement. I figured if i'm going to replace the front bumper, I might as well replace it with the OEM front bumper equipped with fog light ports. However, many components are required & it will all cost a bit. The last thing I want to do is get scammed by a hack website or read about more people who have gotten scammed. Thanks!
  6. Describe your part. Let the smart guys identify it.
  7. I bought the Trail Boss with the mechanicals I wanted but am trying do do a couple oem upgrades. I got the custom TB crew/short box. Trying to find oem parts currently are like pulling teeth, most sites only have accessories up. So was hoping that a GM parts guy would see this and help out...maybe. Looking for a parts breakdown or part #'s if possible. Any help would be appreciated. Peace List: 1) would like to upgrade jump seat/ arm rest to either the jump/arm with both storage compartments or if possible the whole center console like in the LT. Was considering this. https://www.shopchevyparts.com/performance/2019-silverado-1500-air-intake-kit-performance-cold-air-53l-engine/84789802-p-92300615.html 3) Can just the front skid/splash plate be had by its self or do I have to get the full set? Like this maybe. https://www.ebay.com/itm/23176881-2015-2019-Cadillac-Chevrolet-GMC-OEM-V8-Engine-Under-Body-Shield-NEW/271607751458?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 4) The blacked out bow tie grill, can I get just the horizontal bar section or do I need the whole grill section. If ones even available for the custom. https://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts/gm-grille-pkg-frt-black-insta-84320548.html 5) adding the audio steering wheel controls. Is it wired to upgrade or do I need a switch and wiring and sw trim piece done to upgrade? https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-NEW-Steering-Wheel-Radio-Audio-Control-Switch-14-19-Chevrolet-23262276/202358998196?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

  10. John Goreham Contributing Writer, GM-Trucks.com 11-13-2018 Chevrolet announced a new list today for Colorado ZR2 race components. The list consists of 15 off-road racing parts ranging from the ZR2's special Multimatic DSSV shocks ($4,187.50) to jounce shock systems ($1,231.35 front and $1,543.75 rear). The parts are presently all suspension-related. Chevy has not included any engine upgrade parts. These parts were developed by Chevrolet Performance in conjunction with Multimatic and Hall Racing. Chad Hall drove over 10,000 miles in two race series using beta versions of these components to wring out any bugs and to ensure a perfect final product for Colorado owners. “Off-road racing is a brutal test of a vehicle, and especially its suspension components,” said Mark Dickens, executive director of Chevrolet Performance Variants, Parts and Accessories and Motorsports. “Over two years, Chad mercilessly pushed these ZR2 parts to the limit for the ultimate in development and validation. After seeing the success of the Colorado ZR2, customers have been hounding Chad for help building their own ‘Hall Racing ZR2,’” Dickens continued. “For the first time, you can buy the same Chevy Performance Parts that raced and won in the desert. All you need to add is the required safety equipment to build a pre-runner for scouting the Baja 1000 or a full-blown race truck capable of competing in the race itself.” Chevy says that these racing versions of the similar parts already on every ZR2 focus on desert running while preserving low-speed off-road performance. For example, the parts can add an additional 1-inch suspension lift and a 1.5-inch Body Lift on top of the ZR2’s factory ride height and up to 15 percent more suspension travel for extreme high-speed off-roading. AThe racing Multimatic DSSV dampers are engineered to go beyond the already formidable bandwidth of ZR2’s stock DSSVs. The available Multimatic Front Long Travel DSSV Shocks provide customers with a 15 percent increase in overall front suspension travel, while the Multimatic long travel rear shocks increase rear suspension travel by as much as 10 percent. “These parts can be purchased individually to suit each customer’s needs, or as a complete package,” said Dickens. “This gives customers the flexibility to build their truck up over time, purchase only the parts they need for their particular interest, or buy the complete set to build their own ‘Hall Racing’ ZR2.” Jump to the new online list here.
