  1. I just purchased a Readylift sst 2” lift for my trail boss and then came across forums about the cv angle this particular kit causes. I want to know if the kit in the link below will work to drop the diff enough to correct the bad angles, or if anyone has a link to a different kit! Thanks in advance! https://www.ebay.com/itm/283619576133?hash=item42090b4945%3Ag%3ABYQAAOSw4Rdj0nLM&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAABAJGUZfoNyzgvlZe3ei30yhZXR27Wi9kfz7BB%2B6nWsgr0NpRdhPXlwl6SI8KTdrclCHdN2a7zGMK9FtXzzPUbYZzMdTMQL3loBX19toU3jhRcuUepMpb3OeMVkcNT2OE6T7joTVf2riRKkip6M4EtK1%2F7qgQGtC9W%2F72v7Bpc8RiHD1WtGmqFACROHepH6zRqgnV%2Bfs%2FtvaVd4VH0PHlCZhr%2FsqEw8xZaYvCqegf1ptZ66hhSXqrEfVr2R9jNVqI64NoIED5kmdHaVC%2FR2v0iXmhomqAMUbGUtkMjGtmCXjGtmgO74%2B9dGCHRx%2F%2BKk0PRSVgYrd5edQGZVHPxby9lZHo%3D|tkp%3ABFBMyOeFt_5h&fits=Submodel%3ALT+Trail+Boss|Year%3A2020|Engine+-+Liter_Display%3A5.3L|Model%3ASilverado+1500|Make%3AChevrolet|Trim%3ALT+Trail+Boss+Crew+Cab+Pickup+4-Door|Engine%3A5.3L+5328CC+325Cu.+In.+V8+GAS+OHV+Naturally+Aspirated
  2. Hey Guys, So I decided to try the Ready Lift SST 4” kit on my 2021 base Sierra 1500 2WD. I didn’t really see any definitive answers on whether it worked or not but figured I’d try. Started with my base and figured I’d add a great set of take off Ranchos off a new truck I got on eBay. Mixed them with the 4” SST kit PN 69-3940 added Fuel Rebel 6 17x9 wheels with Toyo R/T Open Country 285/70/17. Went together without a hitch. No rubbing yet.
  3. Good morning everyone, I recently purchased a 2018 GMC Sierra Crew Cab SLT All-Terrain package. I'm personally wanting to install a leveling kit and I believe I've selected one. I've read a lot about leveling kits for 2017-18 trucks and this seems like a great kit. However, there isn't many reviews on this product by ReadyLift. The appeal of this lift is the UCA replacements and the <2" height it allows. I'm wanting to go with 305/55/20 or 285/60/20 tires with my stock AT wheels and I want as much clearance possible. I found maybe 2-3 members on here with this lift and I'll quote them below. My question is, will this work with my All-Terrain package? In the description of the kit it states, "Will not work on Z71 packaged vehicles with factory Rancho® struts." Yet on ReadyLift's website, there is nothing supporting that statement. Does anyone have any information or review for this kit? Thanks!
  4. ***** New Price **** Ok, I purchased a brand new GMC 1500 AT4 and added a ReadyLift 2 inch kit. Love the look, however I didn't like the ride as much. I decided to keep the lift and put a brand new set of 22x10 4PLAY P80 wheels and new 33x12.5 Nitto Terra Grappler G2 tires. The wheels and tires look amazing! My truck rides better, however the lift kit isn't what I want so I'm deciding to sell my wheels and tires at big discount. I just put the wheels on May 29,2021. Yeah, I realize I'm losing money, but the lift isn't for me. My loss, someone's gain. 4 22x10 4PLAY P80 wheels - Retail $485-$504 each (-18 offset) 4 33x12.5 Nitto Terra Grappler's - Retail $369-$400 each Selling the wheels and mounted tires for $2,300 Serious inquiries only - Willing to sell, but not desperate
  5. Hope this may help someone - 2021 GMC 1500 AT4 Carbon Pro 4Play Wheels ReadyLift 1.75" Leveling Kit I just purchased a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. These are the parts I installed: 4Play Wheels - Model 4P08 - 22x10 -18 Offset Purchase 4 Hub-Centric Rings! Nitto Terra Grappler Tires - 305/45/r22 ReadyLift Leveling Kit 4Play Wheels - The -18 Offset is so incredibly close to the caliper hump but they clear. No spacers required. They look pretty good. They don't stick out excessively which my personal preference is slightly outside the fender but no where near the -44 Offset look. I personally do not care for solid black wheels on black trucks because you loose the wheel pattern. I live in Texas so 90% of every vehicle is a truck so you see plenty of them. These have Gunmetal Gray powder coat on the top of the spokes so there is some color offset but they mostly look like solid black wheels from a distance. I debated whether to get the all Gunmetal Gray for a major change to the look but I went conservative with black and Gunmetal spokes. You must purchase 4 Hub-Centric Rings. I got everything from Nick at BBWheels and they were awesome and very good pricing. ReadyLift: Part # - 66-3921 - 2019-2021 AT4 1.75" Leveling Kit: I think instructions say like 3 hours. Ya No, at least not in my driveway with basic hand tools and floor jack and no experience. I also had no experience with CV joints so I made sure to run a strap around spindle so it did not fall back and bind or pull the CV joint out of the transfer case and take care of the angle and how much the CV joint was moving in and out, binding and making sure the strut bolt and strut bolt factory press on nut did not tear boot. This was not easy. Drivers side with setup took about 5 hours. Passenger side once I knew what I was doing took less than hour. Also did not have the large like 37mm socket for the spindle nut so I had to go to Northern Tool to purchase one. All they had was a 38mm and it worked. So I really do not know the correct size of the spindle nut but I got the job done and torqued. In the end for me the job probably rated a 7 out of 10 on difficulty scale simply because of taking care of the CV joints and getting the struts in and out without tearing the CV boots or pulling it out of the transfer case. One other note. I did not like the factory pressed on bottom strut nut. It is too tall and pointy and comes to close to the CV boot when working on the install and after. I removed this nut with a screw driver and mounted the strut bolt top down with a lock nut on the bottom on the side closest to the CV boot. Also got the ReadyLift from Nick at BBWheels. Nitto Terra Grappler Tires: To begin I made Discount Tire price match an Amazon price for 33x12.5 Terra Grappler's. Saved like $120 so do it. Next Discount said Corporate would not allow the sale of 33/12.5's because of the AT4's load rating. They said 305/45/r22's had the correct larger load rating so no big deal. They still sold them for the matched Amazon price. Tires ride great no noise look really good. My AT4 has the trailer option so I had 4 tire pressure sensors in glove box. I gave to Discount so they did not have to break down my stock wheels and remove sensors. CV Angle: The only concern I have simply because this was my first 4 Wheel Drive lift kit I ever installed is CV angles? I Googled 2019/2020 GMC Sierra AT4 CV joint angles after lift and mine looks like everyone else's so? I put an angle finder on the top side of CV shaft before and after. Before on Drivers Side it was +4 after lift +12. Bottomside of Drivers Lower Control Arm +9 after lift +15 degrees. Passenger Side it was -10 after lift -19. Bottoms side of Passenger Lower Control Arm -10 after lift -18 degrees. Does anyone have any expertise on this? Does this seem acceptable? Not sure how or if these angles will change after alignment?

  7. Hello everyone, new to the forum, been lurking for a while finally decided to make an account. I have a 2017 Silverado LT Z71 with the stamped steel UCA's. I ordered the ReadyLift UCA/ 2.25" level kit because I've read so much on the issues with the factory control arms that I wanted to level my truck the right way (although it meant costing me an arm and a leg). Today I took the truck to my buddy shop, put the truck on the lift, swapped out the driver side control arm and well to us it looks like the shaft of the ball joint doesn't go in far enough into the knuckle. Another guy that works at the shop came by and thought the same thing. As if the shaft is thicker than the factory one and doent go in far enough. Not sure if thats how it is supposed to be or what but we decided to take it off and just see what ready lift says. Here are a few pictures, any info is appreciated especially if there is anyone out there running the control arms. Thanks in advance.

  9. I am looking at the Readylift 66-3086 2.25" FRONT LEVELING KIT W/ CONTROL ARMS - GM 1500 TRUCK / SUV 6-LUG 2017-2018 https://www.readylift.com/2-25-front-leveling-kit-w-control-arms-gm-1500-truck-suv-6-lug-2017-2018.html For my 2017 Silverado 1500 LT with factory 17 inch aluminum wheels and 255/70R17 tires. After talking to the company, they said that I may need a 1/2 inch wheel spacer for the front so the control arms don't rub on the wheels. Is this true or is this something to try and get me to buy? The main reason I am looking at replacing the upper control arms is because I have an aftermarket heavy duty bumper with grill guard and it weighs around 200Lbs. That worries me with the factory STAMPED control arms it has now. If I need spacers, what spacer is best and cheap? Would I have to modify the studs? What else would I have to do so it doesn't rub? Thanks!
  10. RE: 2014 - 2018 Silverado/Sierra 1500 Wondering if any one has installed Readylift or Cognito UCA's with their leveling kit. Did you have to cut off the service perches/bump stop? If not have much clearance do you have between the UCA and the stop?
  11. Hi, Installed ReadyLift on my 2015 Silverado. 2.25" front lift #66-3085 and removed the factory 1.25" rear blocks to install ReadyLift 3" rear blocks #66-3003. Also added the ReadyLift rear 1.5" Shock extensions #67-3809 to maintain the factory ride. Then a 4-Wheel Alignment. Also replaced my CURT #45030 Class 3, 2" drop ball mount with a CURT #45050 Class 3, 4" drop ball mount to keep trailer level. September 2017. Attached before & after Pics.
