So here it starts. I bought a brand new 2017 red Silverado LT Z71 Double cab Rally 2 edition that was a left over with 4 miles on it. It was built in May of 17, and I bought it in July of 18. It was inspected for the first time in June of 18 and normally in PA that has to be done as soon as the truck hits the lot. I’m not sure what the story is on why it sat, but it did and the dealer was more then happy to wheel and deal with me to get it off the lot. I traded a heavily modified 2006 Hummer H3 that I bought new back in 2005. My H3 was the first to have many of these modifications. It was a Victory Red 06 with championship edition hood stripe, custom red & black leather interior, red carbon fiber dipped accents, color match grill, cold air snorkel, tow package, Monsoon radio, custom iPod attachment, DayStar 1 inch body lift, front level Tbar crank, Bilstein front & rear shocks, drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads, Trail Duty extended bump stops, air horn, GM fender flairs with splash guards, General Grabber 315/75/16 tires, GM touring exhaust, GM H3 tips, AirDoc’s intake, K&N filter, PCMforless tune, GM under body protection, PCSpider diff slider, GM rock sliders with steps, Hunner shock/spring sliders, Thor front bumper with bull bar, 12,500 winch, dual batteries, Tmax controller, KC off-road lights, hi-lift jack, engine coil spring delete, ported throttle body, Gobi ladder, stealth roof rack, window shades Since I am new to the Silverado platform and the truck is brand new, I expect the modifications to be slow at first. I will be starting with the basics like a bed tonneau, window shades, steering wheel bow tie black out, that type of thing.

I saw this nice truck on the freeway and it was a sierra ive never seen before. Im aware of the sle, slt, denali, all terrain, evolution and the new black widow. I know this is a new truck but what edition is it. Withb this red, it usually comes with the bumper chrome. On this truck, its all red. It also has dual exhaust, red brake calipers and red bumperlip with side skirts and red mud flaps. Can someone please tell me what kind of sierra is this?

Howdie folks, I'm fairly new around here. Been creeping for 2-3 weeks and have seen/gotten many great ideas from the threads I have been through. I feel like I've noticed a lot of the deep ocean blue owners doing a total debadge (bowtie as well) and have debated on why other truck owners don't seem to do it as often on the other colors. I've already debadged my doors/tailgate in terms of lettering, but I left the bowtie on the tailgate partially for symmetrical reasons as well as the fear of regretting it. I haven't seen it taken off of many (if any that I can recall) victory red trucks. What would your guys' opinion be regarding the rear bowtie on a victory red Silverado? Take it off, or leave it on??

Sunday my Cherokee finally gave its last. In what has to be the quickest car hunt I've ever done I found this on Craigslist. 2000 Sierra 4.8 5 speed 4x4. Little bit of rust and a couple other issues, but for what I paid I'm very happy . Here's the pictures from the night I went to pick it up. So far I've put a bottle of Restore in, filled the tank and driven it around some. As a guy that can't bring himself to not shift the gears it's good to find a full size that has a stick and it's a v8 and 4wd. As I get into it and the weather warms up I'm starting to think of projects. Mainly thinking it needs a leveling kit, address the rust with some paint and maybe stock style flares to cover it up, and the emergency brake doesn't function so I'll need to get into that. I already have a rear bumper and hitch because they are very rusted at this point. Then there's the issue of only having a radio, might need to do something about that at some point. Also the jump seat top doesn't open, anyone have trick to get it to unlatch? What are your go to upgrades for someone just getting into their Sierra?

Hey Y'all! I've got an '89 K2500 scottsdale (bright red with a new paint job) that has been in my family since it rolled off the lot in '89, and its totally stock. and now that it's been handed down to me and I've got a steady job, I wanna make her more respectable as a bigass truck. I'm pretty much leaving everything open and up to discussion, but some must-haves are: -OR capability. My friends have a little OR club and there's some great trails not too far from here. -Loud. More or less, lets all talk about what might make this truck really great. I can upload pics later, but my phone is acting up and won't send me the pics to my computer.
