Request for Retrax Tonneau Cover owners

Have a request for all of the Retrax tonneau cover owners out there, wondering if someone could provide a measurement of the space remaining under the canister, between the bottom of the canister and the truck bed? Trying to make a decision on which cover to buy for my Silverado. Thanks in advance. -
Guys, I'm looking for opinions on what I should do with the drain tubes from my Retrax. Simplest option is to just route the driver's side down into the large factory drain hole and then use a reducer on the other side. However, that would limit my ability to slide anything all the way to the front of the bed underneath the canister, ie plywood, drywall, etc. So I was thinking about drilling some holes about 4"-5" up from the bottom and routing the drain tubes out them in between the cab and the bed. Obviously some are opposed to drilling the bed, but if you drill, then use rust inhibitor and painting immediately, is there really much danger? I'd ad some rubber grommets to the holes as well. Thoughts?

Not sure if it's worth anything, but I have an extra Retrax Pro MX cover for a 14 -16 5.8 SB. I had intermittent leaks between the rails, so Retrax sent me a new cover. But I had to use my existing rails and back cover. So I don't know if you can just buy new rails and back cover, but do your homework. This would also be good for someone wanting to upgrade to the Pro from the One series. This is the cover with the matte finish and 500lb weight limit. It's in the original box, so if interested, lmk and I can get some pics of it.
