  1. 2014 Silverado LTZ crew cab 4x4 I recently put my rear air ride suspension on and waiting for my 3in motofab leveling kit to come in. With the 3in kit up front what tire size can I go to now? Will I need a bigger rim? Do you have any pictures of stock rim with bigger/beefier tires? Do you have any pictures of larger rims with bigger ties? Currently running stock rim with gy 275/55r20 all terrains
  2. Sorry for the long post. This has been a headache to try and find “factual” information on instead of “opinions”. I have a 2019 Silverado work truck V-6 , 6 speed, with 3:42 gearing. I have a stock suspension. The 2019 work truck comes with three tire options From factory. 1. 17" 255/70R17 all-season, blackwall tires (my current tire) 2. 17" 265/65R17 all-terrain, blackwall tires 3. 17" LT265/70R17C all-terrain, blackwall tires However, ... the Silverado Custom (with the same 3:42 gearing) comes with the following tire opens. 1.20” 275/60R20 all-season, blackwall tires 2. 20”275/60R20SL all-terrain, blackwall tires 3. 22” 275/50R22SL all-season, blackwall tires My current truck has the 17” 255/70R17 all seasons. I love my truck, but I absolutely hate these tires/wheels. They look like baby wheels on a big truck. Way too much fender well free space. Looks like the truck missed “leg day“. My question is if I purchase the OEM wheels and tires for the custom, is there any issue with them fitting my work truck? As far as I know both trucks have the exact same suspension, body clearance, control arms, wheel well clearance, etc. I was looking at going with the 20”275/60R20SL all-terrain, blackwall tires. The only changes that I could forsee that would happen are the following... 1. An increase in wheel diameter of current 31.1” increasing to 33”. 2.a width increase from 10” to 10.8” 3. A sidewall decrease from 7” to 6.5” 4. A revs/mile decrease from 650 to 612 (affecting speedometer speed by .058%) 5. A new effective gear ratio of 3.22:1 6. A change in tire run pressure from 35psi to 32psi. (Annoyingly setting of my TPMS “low pressure” alarm ) several questions.... 1.will these custom tires fit my work truck? I can’t Find any reason that they won’t 2. Will the dealer reprogram my speedometer for the percentage difference, and replacard/reprogram my ECM with the new psi setting to 32psi. (Not sure if they will since the Vin number of my truck does not include these tire size as “options“.) I really don’t want my low pressure alarm going off 24/7. 3. Will I noticed the change in new affective gear ratio from 3.42, to 3.22? (I’m assuming I won’t since it is the exact same gearing/tire size as the custom. Man, there sure is a lot to changing a tire size. Almost doesn’t even seem worth the trouble. Am I going down a bad rabbit hole? Just an FYI, I am not interested in lift kits, aftermarket speedometer programmers, etc. . Would like to stick OEM as much as possible.
  3. Hey all, so my plans originally for a 4" lift with 35s has taken turn and as of right now I will be going with a RCX 7" lift (I decided on RCX because I can keep my turn radius as close to stock as possible and after driving in a few trucks on dealer lots that were on 6" lifts and 35s with kits that restricted the turn radius, I can't deal with that wide of turns all the time. I have talked to a few wheel/tire websites that do deals when you order a wheel and tire package. But haven't been told by any what kind of issues I could run into with a 12.5" wide tire on a 12" wide rim. I can't imagine that this could end well. But like I've said plenty of times in the past, this is my first truck and first lift/rim/tire change experience. Ive changed tires on my old Yukon before by just to something that was the same as stock so changing everything is new. If anyone could give me any insight on what kind of issues I could expect by running a 35x12.5x20 tire on a 20x12 rim, it would be much appreciated. Even better if any one has anything similar. Also, could I run a 10" rim and possibly get the tires to stick out as far? I am wanting to get the tires to stick out 2" past the stock fenders so that I can put on some 2" extension fender flares from Southern Comfort Automotive and the tires will line up, or at least com extremely close to lining up, with the fender flares I don't plan on getting my lift until the summer, probably around the middle of summer to be exact. Thanks in advance - Mike
  4. Ran across these wheels while searching for a 17" steel wheel for my '14 GMC Sierra. I currently have 20s. Was just looking. Anyone have any experience with these wheels? Supposedly GM wheels Made in USA. Will they fit? Offset doesn't look right. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JFMVVF8/?coliid=I1YICWDNZHWXND&colid=EH462CXEB9SS&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it http://www.wheelsexpressonline.com/17-silverado-tahoe-yukon-sierra-wheels-rims-6-lug-178655gm-178655gm
  5. I have a set of 2019 Chevy Colorado rims that are 18x8.5 and 6x120 and they come with tpms already installed. These will fit any 15-19 Colorado and the tpms just need to be programmed to the vehicle. MSRP on these rims and sensors are $2310.08 before tax and core charge (which is $50 per rim). I'm looking for $1600 obo they do not come with tires or center caps. Message me if you have any questions. I have more pictures of the back of the rims showing they are genuine GM rims but they are to large of a file to upload.
  6. Hi everyone, I bought in 2014 a brand new Chevy 1500 High Country. Three years later I brought back my truck to the dealership one more time to get all the bugs fixed before the warranty ended. The truck has 20,000 Kms which is approx. 13,000 Miles. I kept the rims all year round, same as my running boards. My running boards were changed due to corrosion fyi. Three of the four rims have started to peel around the valve stem. The dealership polished them to see if that would resolve the issue but of course did not and you can definitely see that the chrome is coming off. The dealer called GM which said they would replace 2 rims but I would have to pay for the other 2 at cost. Not sure why they would not just cover it all, especially when I came across another GMC truck owner get all 4 of his rims replaced. Does anyone else on here have got that issue and what did the dealership / GM do to fix this issue for you. Any info would help as I will be speaking with the owner of the dealership soon to discuss this further. Please comment and let me know what you think or what your experience was with this issue. Thank you, PEB

  10. Would anyone happen to know of a resource or way to find the paint code for a GM OEM accessory wheel? Specifically, the 22 inch 7 spoke SF1 rim that was released in 2014 and has been used on a lot of the upper trim Denali models. I am asking because I would like to get my line-x liner color matched to my rims. Here is a picture of the wheel in question:

  13. Located in North East Ohio.. would possibly meet buyer to save some driving if distance is an issue (within reason, we can discuss) May consider shipping at buyers expense. I do not know exact cost but assuming it would be $200-$250 ish. I would possibly sell the wheels and tires separately as well... These were removed from my 2015 Chevy 1500 with only 1,000 miles on it, so these are practically brand new in perfect condition. The TPMS was removed, the tire was not fully unmounted, should still be balanced. The tires are goodyear wrangler SR-A 275/55R20 $1400 call/text 440 840 5238
