  1. For those of you looking to setup your own MultiPro tailgate speaker system, well HERE YOU GO! Wiring harnesses and amplifier brackets to make your project super easy!! No splicing or hacking away at your expensive factory wiring! I have a limited number of the items in stock, 10 or so of each, with more that will be ready next week! When I did mine, I used the Soundstream ST4.1000DB bluetooth amp (and I am very pleased with it so far), so all of the options are available as plug and play with that particular amp. Or you can just get a harness with a pigtail that will give you 12v+ power and ground in your inner tailgate, so you can wire it up to whatever you want. Don’t forget to check out the options for adding lights and the speaker wiring harness to make the whole system truly PLUG & PLAY. so much better sound than the Kicker system for a lot less money! All items come with complete installation instructions (with pictures, ha)! Let me know if you have any questions! www.multiprorocks.com
  2. Hay everyone, Just got a 19 Chevy 1500. Im looking to add a small sub-woofer. I need to find out the color coding on the wiring harness for the back left speaker. My amp has a high level input and I want to tap in in an easy spot. This picture is from right be the power seat adjustment control. does anyone have any subjection where I might find a wire diagram. Been looking but no luck finding it. May just be to new to have that info out in the wild....
  3. Hello all! Glad I found a place with some knowledgeable folks so I can ask my modification questions. As of a few days ago I am a proud owner of a 2018 Z71 All Star Edition Chevy Silverado 1500 Crew Cab. I absolutely love this truck but what truck would be complete without a couple of modifications!? I'm running into a situation that hopefully someone else has run into and solved. I want to add a storage unit under the rear seats; however, I also want to add the 10 inch kicker sub woofer that comes from Chevy to give my stereo a little fuller sound. The only place that 10 inch speaker seems to be able to go is under the passenger side rear seat. I have yet to see an under seat storage unit that is basically only half the size so the speaker can fit too, Has anyone done this and if so what storage unit did you get that allowed for both the speaker being mounted and storage bin placement? I do the apartment thing so I don't have the resources or space to fabricate my own as I have seen some on youtube do. Any guidance would be great! Thanks,
  4. Hey! This is a long shot but a little while ago I saw a guy on here who posted his alpine restyle setup for his Silverado and I thought it looked sweet! Well Mostly the speaker pods for the dash. Anyway the full alpine restyle system that gives you the speaker pods is stupid expensive and I already have a system in my truck so I emailed alpine asking if I could purchase them separate and they told me no haha so I was wondering if anyone on here would have any idea how I could get my hands on a set of dash pods or if someone is willing the sell theirs? Thanks !
  5. Anyone put a new Kicker L7 Thin in a 2017 Crew Cab Silverado/Sierra? Was thinking about putting a L7T 12 or 10'' under my rear seat. Pics of setup would be awesome.
  6. Just an FYI for an issue I just resolved with my 2 week old 2017 Silverado. Drove off the lot and put on some music that had some mid-range bass and my passenger door speaker was causing a rattle that I wasn't sure if it was the door rattling or a blown speaker but either way it was horrible and needed attention by the dealer. Dropped it off and they pulled the interior panel and added sound proofing tape and wrapped the area they believed was causing the problem. Was in and out in a couple of hours and was covered in full by warranty. Cranking some old hip-hop without any rattle and I'm a happy camper. Dealer said this has been an issue for years and I was able to find a similar thread on a 2014 here... Easy fix...
  7. Replacing Bose factory 6.5" subwoofer in the center consol with a JL audio 6w3v3. I have seen many people talk about doing this but have never actually seen anyone follow through. I also replaced my rear door speakers. Factory size is 4x6 and I put in 6x8. Made tempelate of speaker size and traced onto the truck door with sharpie. Then used tin snips to cut out the hole. It was super easy and there is nothing back there to get in the way. Then made a mounting ring out of MDF and a jig saw. Painted it black and put a foam sealer on it which pulled tight when I mounted the speaker. I did notice a better sound quality when I added the 6x8 over the 4x6. I swapped because I lost sound out of my back right speaker and thought why not throw a bigger speaker in there. I will be installing the JL 6w3v3 with the JL jx250 amp this week and I will post pictures and let anyone know how it turned out. Obviously it's not a 10 or 12 under the rear seat but I think it will add a much better sound overall. Not looking to wake the neighborhood. I have read many places it's is "sooo complicated" to get to the Bose sub in the center consol why bother with it. Not true at all. It took 25-30 min to get the entire console out and pull the sub.

  9. Hey, so I am trying to replace the speaker wire in my rear door speakers and I cannot get the panel off that is on the column between the front door and rear door. This column panel has the speaker wires running up it into my rear door. How do I remove the panel without breaking the little red Clips inside? Thanks, Hunter
