  1. For sale are my set of custom painted, OEM Sierra Denali LED Tail Lights. I had these painted to go on my truck and unfortunately they took so long I had to go a different direction before I got them back.. I have since moved up to a 3/4 diesel and am hoping these can find an owner who will appreciate the time, effort, and $$$ that went into creating them! These OEM LED Tail Lights are selling for $300 - $500 a piece online, and the cost to have these custom painted Mineral Metallic to match the Denali paint + the lens smoked (lightly, not enough to dim them when lit!) was $700 - looking to get $1,000 including shipping. Can cut a better deal if wanting to pick up in person in the Houston, TX area. Please reach out for additional pictures, questions, etc. I respond much quicker via text (405) 642-9097 Thanks!
  2. (Updated to reflect I have purchased BRAND NEW OEM LED Harnesses to accompany these lights) For sale are my Chevrolet LED Tail Lights. I originally purchased these to replace my existing tail lights but had a change of heart and painted my existing housings instead. In great shape and will be cleaned and polished for new owner. Asking $440 ($470 shipped) If you have any questions or want additional pictures, shoot me a message,
  3. This last weekend I went ahead with putting in the OEM LED tail lights from the LTZ model on my new 2018 Silverado LT. Overall the installation was successfull and fairly easy to do. The tail lights that I have had the stock GM harnesses still attached and I ordered a tail light harness (with resistors for hyperflash) from PGamboa. BTW if you are planning on doing this mod I would HIGHLY suggest the kit from @pgamboa. The kit was shipped quickly, was made with quality and I have never met a person that was willing to answer so many stupid questions from me . I would say that the most difficult parts of the entire process was picking a good place to mount the resistors, and doing the actual routing of the stock wire harness. The cables from the tails are actually threaded down behind the lights and down to almost the middle of the truck near the spare tire to an electrical hook up. If I could give anyone advice on this it would be to drop the spare and move it out ahead of time, makes clipping the cables in way easier. So onto the picks: Before the project: Where I decided to mount the resistors. This is on the drivers side and it is close to where the other cables run down. The cables were eventually routed in that opening to the left and continued through the stock channels: Close up off the resistor location: Afterwards, lit up at night: and with the reverse lights on: I know that some people say that they are too expensive, however I just think that they look better than most of the aftermarket tail lights that are out there. Also yes I am planning on adding White LED Reverse lights and LED License plate bulbs. If you have any questions about the process I would be happy to try and answer them.
  4. I have a 2017 Silverado 1500 LTZ that came with factory LED tail lights. I recently bought a set of Morimoto XB LED tail lights that are not intended for factory LED trucks. I also purchased a set of tail light harness for a non-LTZ Silverado (GM Part #’s 23295977 and 23295978) so it would be a plug and play installation. Everything works (running lights, brake lights, reverse) but I have hyper flash on the turn signals. I have more pics and video of the issue on my instagram - @pgsulins Here is a list of the things I unsuccessfully tired to correct the issue: 1. Using the non-LTZ wiring harness, I installed 50w 6 ohm resistors with no luck 2. Using the non-LTZ wiring harness, I disconnected the Morimoto resistors that came on the tail lights and installed 50w 6 ohm resistors with no luck 3. I hacked into the LTZ wiring harness with and without added resistors keeping the Morimoto resistors plugged in with no luck 4. I hacked into the LTZ wiring harness with and without added resistors disconnecting the Morimoto resistors with no luck 5. I disconnected the Morimoto tail lights and installed incandescent bulbs into the non-LTZ harness and still get hyper flash 6. I tried wiring the Morimoto tail lights directly to the trailer hook up and still get the hyper flash 7. I connected the factory LED tail lights using the correct harness and then wired the Mormimoto tail lights to the trailer hook up and the hyper flash stopped 8. I called Morimoto and they were not helpful 9. I called two Chevy dealerships and asked if they could eliminate the error code but they were unwilling to touch it Attempts #5 and #7 lead me to believe there are some electronics in the actual factory LED tail lights that the computer needs to read in order to avoid the hyper flash. I say this because there should be no hyper flash with attempt #5 because I am using a stock set up and attempt #7 eliminates the hyper flash but requires the stock LED tail lights to be hooked up. I realize my issue is self-inflicted due to these lights not be intended for my truck but I love the look of these tail lights and was willing to give it a try. I know Recon sells tail lights that are intended for trucks that came equipped with factory LED tails so someone has been able to get working equipment on this truck but I’m out of ideas. Does anyone have any info that could help? Thank you! Paul
  5. GMC Sierra 2016-2018 Tail Lights and matching 3rd brake light and wiring harnesses $ 700 for the set plus shipping
  6. Looking for recommendations on aftermarket LED tail lights for my 2019 1500 LD, same body style as the 14s-18s. (Non factory led) I replaced the reverse lights with diode dynamics led bulb but the stock housings suck and barely throw any light. So Im looking for something all LED. I like the morimoto xb led tail lights but theyre kind of pricey at $475. Does anyone have a discount on those or anything? Let me know what you guys have and if you like what you have or not! Thanks in advance!
  7. I’m trying to order some aftermarket tail lights for my 2016 Silverado z71 Ltz. But almost all the lights I click on say not compatible with 2016 Ltz yet the same lights are compatible for every other model. From what I gather its because my truck has “factory led tail lights”. Can someone please explain to me the difference between my tail lights and 2016 Silverado Lt tail lights? Do I have factory led tail lights? I just don’t know the deference between the two and if I have the “led tail light” or not.
  8. Hello all, This may be a stupid question but I’ve been on the phone and gone in person to parts counters at my local Chevrolet dealerships and cannot find anyone with an answer. I’m wondering if anyone might know if I can swap the tail lights from a 2018 Silverado into my 2017? I think the 18s look much better but have no clue if they would fit perfectly in. Any information or answers are much appreciated
  9. I have a 2016 Silverado LT2 and do have the new style projector bulbs and LED running light strips in the reworked front end vs the 2015 style... but I like LED lights more than bulbs. Anyone have the smarts to have looked into it to know if the LTZ lights would plug and play into an LT? The LTZ has LED front signal lights and tail lights where the LT has bulbs. Not saying I will do it, but it would be nice to know if it's possible so my truck would have the same look as an LTZ. Thanks
  10. From the album: 4silverado

Got these 2003 replacement tail lights and harnesses for Christmas. I think these look better than the stock 2004 ones, especially on a red truck.
