Getting ready to replace my A/C compressor and some other parts, was wondering if you guys have any tips or tricks on to replacing the unit. My truck has never had AC since i bought it in 2015, i figured since i have small children it has to be done. i will be doing all the work at my house, no need to pay thousands of dollars for a shop to install.

Hey, Bought this truck back in April and love it so far, but I have a question. Normally, there are tips & tricks, hidden menus or interesting adjustments in the Onboard stereo or through the DIC or anything else. Thanks, Richard -
I realize this is a revisited topic, but the treads before aren't really much help. I am new to this forum and started looking into joining after the internet wasn't much help except on a generalized basis. I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500, Regular Cab, Fleet Side Bed, 5,3L Gas, Auto that I can not seem to pin the exact location of the vapor canister vent solenoid. Any advice to the location including tips, pictures, or just the easiest method would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help!
