Quick question, what’s everyone’s suggestions for a good set of towing mirrors for my 2019 GMC Sierra? It’s a SLT package and the only option I know of right now is only the clip on style. Thanks

Hey everyone, I have a 2018 5.3l sierra 2wd, I want to install a whipple supercharger kit I've found, it says that no internal mods or upgrades are needed to handle the extra power. But I'm sure that that's not the case. I'm thinking I need to at least install a cam and upgrade the fuel system a little bit. As well as maybe beef up my driveshaft due to the common issues being reported on the stocks. Any thoughts or advice helps. I've never owned a supercharger, or modified a truck this much, so for my first time I want to do it right.

I bought the Trail Boss with the mechanicals I wanted but am trying do do a couple oem upgrades. I got the custom TB crew/short box. Trying to find oem parts currently are like pulling teeth, most sites only have accessories up. So was hoping that a GM parts guy would see this and help out...maybe. Looking for a parts breakdown or part #'s if possible. Any help would be appreciated. Peace List: 1) would like to upgrade jump seat/ arm rest to either the jump/arm with both storage compartments or if possible the whole center console like in the LT. Found this for 700 but no part #'s https://www.ebay.com/itm/2019-SILVERADO-SIERRA-CONSOLE-JUMP-SEAT-JUMPSEAT-TAKE-OUT-BLACK-CLOTH/183881121829?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 2) Looking for the cold air intake (does having the L82 instead of the L84 change my options? Was considering this. https://www.shopchevyparts.com/performance/2019-silverado-1500-air-intake-kit-performance-cold-air-53l-engine/84789802-p-92300615.html 3) Can just the front skid/splash plate be had by its self or do I have to get the full set? Like this maybe. https://www.ebay.com/itm/23176881-2015-2019-Cadillac-Chevrolet-GMC-OEM-V8-Engine-Under-Body-Shield-NEW/271607751458?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 4) The blacked out bow tie grill, can I get just the horizontal bar section or do I need the whole grill section. If ones even available for the custom. https://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts/gm-grille-pkg-frt-black-insta-84320548.html 5) adding the audio steering wheel controls. Is it wired to upgrade or do I need a switch and wiring and sw trim piece done to upgrade? https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-NEW-Steering-Wheel-Radio-Audio-Control-Switch-14-19-Chevrolet-23262276/202358998196?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

So I have a 2018 Silverado 5.3 Z71 LT and I've tried looking up threads for this topic before but for some reason I haven't had any luck. Ive had this truck for a year now and I had a level lift installed and my MPG stayed around 18-22 MPG and I could get 325-400 miles out of a full tank of fuel. I recently installed a 3.5 Rough Country suspension lift and I installed 20" wheels with 33" tires. I knew going into this modification that I would see a slight decrease in MPG but immediately after the install I dropped my MPG to 7.5-9 MPG and I cannot get it to increase AT ALL. I used to work at a GM dealership and spoke to a couple of old co-workers about this issue and for some reason we cannot pinpoint the issue. I know that increasing the ride height and the different wheel/tire package would create a difference but I didn't know that it would be this bad. I'm considering a performance chip and a CAI to try and increase my MPG, and its not a bad batch of gasoline and I've changed my driving habits and kept my foot off the throttle a little bit...if anyone has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot!!

Hey all, new here. Selling my racecar and got back into a truck. Just bought a 2015 Sierra 1500. But it has the tiny screen. It appears that if I were to go aftermarket with a new head unit, I would have to remove components and what not. I'd like to keep the stock look and so far, I've found ways that cost a lot of money. Crutchfield has a system for over a grand, it's all aftermarket and really nice, but I can't afford that. So, I was hoping the community might have ideas on adding a DVD drive(my truck does not have a CD player), and the 8 inch touch screen? Essentially just taking the parts from another truck and putting them in mine, maybe? But even that is probably costly. I'm no stranger to electronics and mechanics. So any work I'd need to do myself I'm plenty capable and comfortable. Thanks, Matt

Hello everyone! New to the forum and I have a question that I need a definitive answer to.. I have a 2015 Silverado crew LT w/max trailering package with the small mirrors with power and heat. A turkey smashed into the pass side and broke the mirror. rather than replacing the mirror I want to upgrade to the towing mirrors. I know the there is a good amount of cost in doing this. I know there is a mirror retrofit kit 23372181 and I might need 2 harness's 23171572 23171566 build date for my truck is May 2015 I really would like power fold and those parts are drivers mirror 23241465 pass mirror 23241467 and a door switch 23488411 but I have also heard that a different switch is needed 23154702 so..I'm at a loss for what I really need to get. any one have any thoughts? Thanks.. the Newbie

Hi Everyone! I am the recent owner (as of November 2014) of a 2009 Chevy Silverado LT Extended Cab Z71 4x4 and I love it so far! I have done a couple things to it, and will post some pictures. Unfortunately I'm away from my truck for a few weeks for work so I can only post what I currently have on my computer. I installed some lights behind the grill, one under my hood for working at night, and a few in my bed. Next upgrades I'm looking at are: -Volant CAI -Banks Monster Exhaust -Reroute the antenna -Maybe a reverse camera and who knows what else! I'm open to opinions on the above items, or recommended mods. Thanks guys, and here are some pictures

I'm 17 and new to these forums and have a few questions. So I have a 2006 Silverado 1500 5.3L with 80,000 miles on it. I'm basically just looking to make 0-60 faster and not sure what combination of modifications I should do, keeping in mind I want to tow a few dirt bikes with the truck. It seems like I'm in weird spot because to make these trucks fast, most people add a supercharger, or just call it a day with an exhaust and a CAI. The supercharger route cost like what? $7000 all together? And the exhaust and CAI is around $1000? I have $2500 to spend on some goodies but not sure whats best to do after an exhaust, CAI, and Tune. Do a cam and rockers? Thanks.

Hey guys new to the forum! Just purchased my 3rd GM vehicle! I previously had a 2007 5.3 Silverado LTZ, a 2005 Cadillac CTS-V, and now a 2011 Gmc Sierra Denali! My truck is 2wd and obviously has the 6.2 (L9H). I'm ready to do some upgrades and I'm not exactly sure the best route to go performance wise. Here's what I'm thinking. Would love to hear your guys input. I am no gear head but I'm learning so bare with me! Intake- Was thinking a Volant intake for the closed/insulated box that provides cooler air, but at the same time Wouldn't it provide less air compared to a non-enclosed filter box? Either way heard the Volant was the best route and saw some for 250-300$ on eBay. Exhaust- I want something that's going to be a little bit louder but really just looking for good power gains. Also I don't want to spend $1000+ on an exhaust. I've read that I can accomplish the same thing by going a cheaper route like cutting the resonator off or adding a Y pipe. Headers- love the sound and power gains you get from headers. Just not sure what size to go. Tune- I will be getting my truck tuned at Houston House of Power by Chucks Tuning, who does a really good job with gm motors. Ready.... Go! And thanks in advance! Glad to be apart of the forum!

Hey Everyone, New to the forum, recently purchased a 2014 Silverado with the split bench and leather seats. The leather and bucket combo was only available on the LTZs (according to my dealer) and I wasn't going to spend the additional money for just the one extra option I wanted. I've been researching removing the split bench middle "jump seat" and adding the factory console that comes with the bucket seat option. Has anyone attempted this or know much about it? I've searched around and looked online; there seems to be people on Ebay selling the jump seat alone but that's about it. Any insight would be appreciated! Thanks!
