While the light-duty pickups get a totally new platform for 2019, the HD version will have to wait another year, until 2020, for their all new versions. That means 2019 is a transition year for the 2500HD and 3500HD. Cab choices will be limited and one last K2XX special edition will available on the Chevrolet side. A few months ago the 2020 HD was spotted undergoing testing if you are inclined to wait.
