y2kz71 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 If you have cooper zeon ltz 275/60 20's on factory oem wheels, please post some pics here and tell me what your setup is...like what size level kit, no level kit, trimmed fenders, rubbing/no rubbing etc. I have looked thru several threads here and some info is missing that I need (besides I know everyone likes to post pics of their trucks anyway). Thanks
y2kz71 Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 lol...okay maybe I need to rephrase what information I need. I have the cooper zeon ltz in 275/60 r20 on my truck with factory 20's which most know are 20x8.5 +31mm offset. I currently have the 2" front lower strut spacer level kit. My kit consists of (2) 1/2" thick spacers which provide 1" lift each (my fenders are also trimmed from a previous setup). I was wondering if I could get by with just one of the spacers or do I need to keep both for 2"? I was hoping to hear from the members here that run this tire on NNBS GMT900 so they could tell me what works on their trucks before I make a mistake. I would really appreciate some insight so I can keep the 2" and get my truck aligned, or remove one or both and then get it aligned. Heres some crappy pics
1990ss Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I have a 2" leveling kit and they rub my mud flaps. That's all I can tell you. Never tried it with a 1" leveling kit, which I think is what your asking? It probably would rub, not sure though. Why not just keep the 2" kit on?
y2kz71 Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 Thanks for the reply, I just dont want my truck to be taller than needed. The fenders are square at the lower section so I was thinking Im really not gaining anything by being up just 1" higher as far as clearance. I can leave it like it is, but I swear I read on here that someone was only running a 1" with no rub.
Stevens03 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 I'm running 275/55R20's and mine rub the mud flap at full lock backing up. I'm adding the 2" leveling kit in the spring If I can wait that long

y2kz71 Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 Thanks, I guess I better just leave it at 2" front lift to be on the safe side. BTW....If anyone is looking into replacing their rear shocks I bought some Rancho RS9000XL 9way adjustables and they ride like a dream. Someday I will get the quicklift fronts.
michigan2500hd Posted December 6, 2009 Posted December 6, 2009 I really wish Cooper would make these tires for 17 and 18" rims. I love the look and so far i hear good things about them. I dont care for the AT/R's much
