Scan Tool, Diagnostic Tool. What You Using?

Maybe I should have posted this in the electronic section instead of here, but anyhow what are you using to scan your truck? Well actually what are you using to do live data readings or streaming views as we call it? Reason I ask is that sears has a tool on sale for $100 off. It is this one for $199 after the savings

Tomorrow is the last day for $100 off and It also does obd1 codes only though. Reason I ask is that I have obd1 & 2 vehicles and want live views on what it is going on. If not I may get the software & cable for a laptop to do this.

I think a friend may sell his Snap on MT2500 that may do the obd1 live data I need to see. Any thoughts from anyone????

I have that one, actually mine is branded Blue Point/Snap on, but it is the same tool and works well. I use on my new truck which is CAN OBD, and on my '01 which is OBD2, and even my son's Ford. It works great, and that is a good price!

I have this same one. It is made by Equus and it is from their line of Innova Diagnostics Equipment. Great tool, I've had mine for about 8 months, and actually just gave one to a relative for Christmas. VERY easy to use and the live data is really nice.

Save a couple more bucks, get free shipping and get the name brand one here....

OBD1 gives live data?

no it does not, wish it did. I bought to try it out and works great with my 04 HD. It only tells you codes for obd1 vehicles. I have 90 days to return it to sears for a full refund. I may keep it if I do not find a better one. i saw that one for $185 you posted in that link but once I buy it, I own it so I thats why I bought the sears one to try it out. I need an obd1 scan tool that does live data and only certain ones do as it looks

I have the Actron CP9180 which is a great scanner, but I don't think it does OBD-I. Im actually going to sell it because I want to get the Equus Innova 3160 which has ABS capability. (it's so hard going from a Snap-On Modus which does everything to these "generic" tools)
