I am thinking about putting headers on my 2009 6.2L Sierra and have chosen two possible contenders:

1. American Racing Headers

2. Stainless Works Headers

Let me know what you think... these will be 1.875 primaries with 3" collector to the 3.5" stock cat back...

If you want a perfect easy fit go with the AR's...never had any complaints, but they will cost you for the added fun. 1 7/8" Tubes

I havent ever EVER heard anyone that has put ARH on and say that they were not satisfied with them. ARH all the way!!!!

Looks like I'm going to be the first dissenting vote and say to go with the SW headers. I've seen their headers installed on a Trailblazer SS and also a set on a GTO and both sounded great and looked very nice in the fit/finish department. Both of those were also fitted with the corresponding SW catback exhaust as well.

Stainless Works seems to only offer a dual exhaust setup for their headers and no Y pipe for the factory connection. On top of that they only offer the primary tubes in 1 3/4". ARH does the Y pipe, both catted and non catted as well as offering 1 7/8" primary tubes which probably better suit the 6.2.
