Move Incorrect Topics

It seems everyone with any question post it in the general truck forums. There are specific forums for tires/rims etc. I think it would clear up a lot of clutter, if topics about specifics that fit into listed topics, are moved out of the general topic area.

Also, there seems to be a lot of post with the same questions or info, and people are not searching first to see that the question has already been answered.

You are correct. It seems to happen on most forums. Not sure it will ever change though.

It would help if the mods would post a stickie on each sub forum outlining certain things, certain basics for the newbs/tards/dimwits....... This is the only forum of several i belong that is a common occurrence. :noway:

That would rely on the premise that the people who post in the "wrong forum" will even read the "stickie".... i wont hold my breath :noway:

The stickie could be sent when new people sign up, or direct them to it, and tell them its a required read. At least it would cut/help on the flow........ :noway:

I know I try to move wrong topics or delete duplicate posts/topics when I see them

Still waaaaaay to many wrong topics on a daily basis especially in fullsize trucks.

Most people that I have seen post topics incorrectly are trying to reach the audience found in certain forums. Usually more frequent traffic and quicker responses occur in the "full size" forum.

Also, "full size" refers to quite a few topics that are shared with other sub-forums.

As a side note, it has been my experience that this forum is moderated in a much more tolerant administrative manner, not so much of an IRON FIST.

Spam, pron, offensive, flames, are a different matter. Incorrect classification will be corrected, just not within moments of occurrence like offensive material would be.
