Bigger Is Better. Upgraded To A 2500 Duramax!

I found a sweet deal on a 08 Sierra 2500 4X4 SLT Duramax at a Volvo/Mazda dealer about 60 miles south of me. With the research I did, they were asking several thousand less than the resale value. She has 12,800 miles on her, Crew Cab Z71, Long Bed, body is in good shape as is the inside. Carfax is clean, one owner, and serviced at the local dealership she came from in California. Color is Fire Red with Ebony interrior. Has every option I think minus the rear DVD system.

 

They offered me 19K for my 07 and considering I only owed 15K and the condition it was in and the research I did on resale and retail and private party selling values, I am happy with the way they worked the numbers with me. They went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied and they did not try to jerk me around. Best car buying experience I have had to date.

 

As for how she drives... HOLY TURBO BATMAN! I LOVE IT! This thing would leave my old 07 in the dust!

 

It'll take me all weekend to read thru the owners manual, the thing is a fricken novel. I'll post some pics of her tomorrow. Just picked her up tonight.

Congrats- I did the opposite last Dec. and traded my dmax in for 08 1500. Hindsight 20/20 - I wouldn't have done it. The duramax is awsome and I have been having serious torque and power withdrawls eversince. Enjoy it!
