Difference In 07 Classic And 07 Nbs Short Beds

What is the difference (if any) on the Short Beds of the Classic and NBS trucks? I'm curious to see if a bed cover off my pop's truck will fit.And before it's asked,I would've done tried the cover but the truck is 2 1/2 hrs away now...

2007 classic (GMT-800)

Cargo area dimensions: length (inches): 78.7, front width (inches): 64.8, width between arches (inches): 50 and height (inches): 19.5

 

2007 NBS (GMT-900)

Cargo area dimensions: length (inches): 69.3, front width (inches): 62.5, width between arches (inches): 50.6, height (inches): 21.0

Also, the sheet metal on the NBS beds is very thin, especially the bed rails. They bend more easily than those on the classic trucks.

I just got a Laredo Access cover for my 06 Silverado, the sales man SWORE the "new body style" 07 to current, would fit my truck. An hour and a half later of screwin with it I called the manufacturer. He said box it up take it back, here's the correct part #. Had the correct one on in about 30 minutes.... It's amazing how the right parts fit and the wrong parts don't?!?!
