Looking For Harness From New Column Harness To Radio

Recommended Posts

:P

Ok, so I have been adding cruise to my truck for 2 years now...... and have had 2 kids in that time......

I purhhased the following: -wheel that already has the curise & redundant radio controlls

-Clock spring (Part: 15829094*)

-Column Harness (Part: 25807859*)

I stll have to have the computer flashed (local dealer finally agreed to), but the radio controls are not working.I think it's because there is an extra plug on the new column harness that nothing plugs into.

Is there a part# or diagram showing a harness from the column harness to the radio? Or What is this extra black plug for??

Truck is an 07 NBS W/T Reg Cab. (ext cabs allready have all nessessary harnesses in place)

Thanks.

Does anyone know what this plug goes to? If it goes to the radio for the wheel controls, can i hard wire it in?

I have an 09 GMC Sierra WT, in order to get the steering wheels for the radio, I had to change the entire dash harness. I don't think the WT is wired for redundant radio controls.

Just my experience

W/T's suck! they have no wiring for squat! ... Ok im better now....

Hopefully it can be done, if i already have the wiring from the wheel, to the clock spring, down to a pigtale in a harness, there has to be a way to connect that set of wires to the radio......or does it go through the a computer first, like the BCU?? I know we have some very smart persons on this site.
