So I have been checkin out alot of pull a parts and found one wiht some billstien shocks that will fit on my truck... Now the bed was removed as well as all for tires so the vehicle has been sittin practicaly on its frame. and the back shocks have been weathered. Now because this is a Shock we are talkin about, How much damage can the weather do to them, they have to be somewhat weather resistant dont they? and how can i check them out b4 i buy them? By the way, i can still clearly read Billstein on them. Any replies would be Greatly appreciated Thanks!

Just make sure that the pistons are not rusted, and you need to compress them to make sure that they firmly rebound thus indicating that they are not blown. Any bumping or uneven resistance indicates an internal valve failure. Also check the mount bushings for deterioration.
