Payload Capacity

Went and loaded up with some compost this morning. It weighed in at 1110 KG. Steering got a little 'light' if I went over 95 km, but otherwise was fine. Didn't really notice a difference in braking (after all, crappy brakes are crappy brakes). Out of curiosity, I pulled the sales brochure to find out what the payload capacity is- I knew I had exceeded it- to find that it is 749 KG. Anyways, first time I really worked the truck and I am quite happy with the performance.

yea these trucks really do handle weight and towing good. I tow and load up the bed all summer long. And as a matter of fact my firestone ride rite air assist springs are coming today, cant wait to get them on and put some weight in the bed or go towing.

I agree on the loading. I've connected the camper up with no WD bars just to see (~1k lbs), and was surprised that it didn't bottom out. Still had couple inches to the bump stops. The overload springs are stiff.
