Question
2018GMC
Hi all,
My mom's 97 Silverado 1/2 ton is having the common steering sensor problem again. Pressure changes when driving down the highway and chunky low speed turns. Can anyone give me some do it yourself instructions? Or is this a PITA and I should just go to the dealer. The sensor was replaced under warranty but with the truck being over 12 years old I doubt it is still covered. Is this a dealer only part? With over 160K miles this truck has been great besides some fuel pumps
an intake maniford gasket has always eaten some dex-cool (a hate-love relationship)
Thanks for the insight.
