Value Of '88 K5 Blazer?

Recommended Posts

Well to me, this thing is priceless! It's been sitting in my garage since 8/06 because it needs rings & valve seals...basically due for a full rebuild. A little info on the truck:

350 TBI/700R4, Edelbrock tubular exhaust headers, true duals w/Flowmasters , 4" suspention lift, 33" BFG M/T's on 15 x 10 Eagle alloys

Extras still new in box:

Edelbrock Performer Intake

Edelbrock Performer Plus cam & lifters

Polished aluminum centerbolt valve covers

new water pump

complete engine gasket kit w/RTV silicone

I'm getting close to moving, and don't really want to take it with me because I don't want to tie up my new garage with it, and I realize I will never put the time & $$$ into it to get it running again. So my question is>>>What do you guys think this Classic is worth??? Keep in mind, it's got almost 4yrs worth of dust on it.

Running examples here bring 3000 - 5000 bucks. Really nice ones a little more.

Non running, it's just up to you to find that guy that will pony up and take it. I'm guessing 1500 - 2000 bucks...

Here in FL rust was an issue. I bought mine in Sept of 2015. Looked for months prior. I see you have original door panels which is a plus. Cannot see what the dash looks like but to have it re-done by Justdashes.com, which is the only company in the country to restore the factory metal dash pad, is about $750-1,000 by itself. I'm in the 4th quarter of my '89K Jimmy resto project. Big items on these trucks are 1- Rust on the body. 2- Dash, 3- Door panels. Those are 3 big costly items that are a PITA to deal with. I paid $5k for a running 113k truck with only a spot or two of rust on the body (rocker) and zero rust on the frame, new 33" BFG's and other goodies and seats redone etc. I put your K5 at $2,500-3k. I see the AC accumulator is missing and there is some aftermarket wiring going on. Fully restored 89-91 K5's are bringing $15-$20k.
