Disconnecting Battery Pos Terminal

Probably a dumb question, but my 2007 NBS 2500HD has me intimidated. I am going to install a battery isolator so that the camper won't discharge the truck battery when we're parked. I want to disconnect the battery positive before doing this, but wonder if there are going to be issues when it's reconnected. Thanks for any input.

disconnect negative first and nothing will happen

No issues, but, I'd disconnect the negative. Just avoids the chance of arcing with a wrench on the positive.

Well I would disconnect the ground cable as opposed to the positive. The only issue would be you will loose the presets on your radio and memory on any other devices you might have.

Yep, you guys are right. Just disconnecting negative will do it. (I'm brain dead).
